Pokemon mono-typing runs

Has anyone ever played a Pokemon game with a mono-typing run? I'm doing a mono-dragon run in Platinum, using dragon types (or dragon-esqe pokemon, like Milotic) from all four generations. Of course, I'm using codes to receive them. But there is really no other way, unless I trade, and I only have one DS.

My planned team:

-Fly
-Dragon Rush

Milotic
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Water Pulse
-Dragon Pulse

Garchomp
-Earthquake
-Crunch
-Dragon Rush
-Aerial Ace

Salamence
-Dragon Claw
-Zen Headbutt
-Flamethrower
-Fly

Giratina (origin)
-Shadow Force
-Earth Power
-Shadow Ball
-???

It's not a complete team yet; there are still things I need to buff out.

So...anyone else do something like this?

I did a monotype flying once, when I still played my old Emerald game. I can't remember my team exactly, but my starter was Torchick, and I had a swellow, pelliper... I just remember the electric gym being hard as crazy. 😊

I never did that before 😱 I should give it a try sometime. Maybe an all grass-type party... I love grass type pokemon.

Nope, I have not - I like having a variety. But I like making up different teams of only one specific type, I just don't use them to beat the game haha
