The Gifted

Gifted children have begun to appear over the world.Children with powers and skills far beyond what was thought possible. Too powerful an asset to be left alone, the government began tracking down, and capturing the gifted. After five years, the government successfully gathered almost 100% of the children into a secret facility. There, the children would be contained, and could be trained to run missions, or experimented on for research and development. However, the children broke out and escaped the facility. Now the goverment has repaired it and are out to hunt the children once more.

Sarah stopped by a tree and took a long breath. The government was chasing her. They were in a dark car. Sarah sat down and looked around. It would take a while for them to find her in the forest. "Hello?" she called, hoping there were some more gifted children here.

@sarahsaurus alright 😸 I'll join for now XD But if a bunch of peole just post two word sentences that no one can really reply to I'll have to end up quitting, there's just a bunch going on in my life, and I can't keep up with a bunch of posts that don't contribute to the plot.

Special Power/Skills: She can wriggle her way into someone's mind, and since most humans don't pose a threat and they don't shield their mind she can take control of their thoughts and their actions. She's gotten very good at it through the years and she can easily overpower most people, even if they have defenses up. She can make them do things that they don't want to, even people with gifts she can control and use their gifts when she wants them to.
--Drawbacks to her power: Sometimes if she doesn't shield her own mind in time, she can feel other's sorrow and pain, which causes herself pain
Appearance: Light blonde hair, with touches of brown in them and purple, cotton candy seeming highlights woven into them.
Personality: Nerine is mostly wry, and everything that she says is usually said in a sarcastic tone. When she's upset or annoyed at something she'll usually deliver her point in cynical quips, that are so concise that it sometimes makes her seem rude since she isn't disclosing much information.

Jasper was balanced precariously on a sturdy branch on a tree. The thick green leaves kept him well hidden from the stalkers (aka the goverment). Nobody could see him unless they were on a branch or they have x-ray vision. Jasper muttered something.

"HELP!!!" she screams again as the man shoved her into the backsteat. The loud sound of her voice echoed through the forest. The car drove out of the forest and into the city.

"Yup. I'm here" Jasper muttered. Judging by the voice, he knew that it was Silic. Usually, he was bored, but right now, a stalker was searching for them which meant great danger. That's why he was in the tree, to stay hidden and also, he could see if a stalker was here.

Silic heard him, though didn't see him. "Well, you better be careful of scientists, because I heard some sirens coming."She said back, trying to find a cave of some sort. "I think they're burning trees as well. I heard they have torches.

Sarah remembered: if she used her powers, she could move the car back into the forest. She grunted and the car began to shake. "what are you DOING?!!!" the man said, his eyes getting wider as he tried to stop the car from wiggleing. He called on his phone. "we...we need backup!!!! Now!!! In the forest!!! I found a gifted one and she's about to kill me!!!" he hung up and jumped out of the car, running away.

"Eh. Who cares? I'll disappear before they chop down this tree" Jasper muttered. He didn't like running away. If only they could find everyone and then kill all of the stalkers. Alas, everyone with endowments are scattered everywhere.

Sarah realized he was gone. She dropped the car back on the ground and ran into the tree where Jasper and Sillic were in, not knowing they were there.

You could just teleport behind them and slash them." She said, looking behind some bushes. "Ah! Found something!" She mumbled, and removed more bushes to see a hole. "Target found. Now come on, the fire might spread, this cave's made outta stone." She said, gesturing for him to get in.
