Which of these are correct? I think it's #1 but I've also seen people that think it's #2. So I'm all confused. D; Post which one you think is correct and I'll tally them up. 😸 Thanks. ^^

1. egg stage, 1st stage, 2nd stage, 3rd stage...?

2. egg stage, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, 4th stage...?

@Yogurt

I usually go by #1.
Just because you use EGG stage then you continue.

@yogurt

I say #1 because it just makes for sense to have the egg stage seperate from the other stages of hatching and growing.

@yogurt, This is what I think:

Egg stage is the first stage, it's the beginning stage so it's like kindergarten, you don't go from kindergarten into 2nd grade, you go from kindergarten to 1st grade.

Then after the egg stage, is the first stage, it's the creatures first evolution stage. And so on and so forth!

I also sometimes do this though:

Egg stage, hatched, 2nd stage, 3rd stage. It's the same thing except instead of 1st stage I sometime call it hatched.

Just to clarify I vote #1

I don't think either is "correct" since neither is official or anything
But most users just go by the first one since most others use that one.

@yogurt: 1st one. Because it makes a lot more sense to me. Sometimes when I say 1st stage to people they think egg stage and are disappointed(I dunno, but probably).

I vote #1.

First stage is considered a hatchling to me, and it's in second stage if it evolves. Egg is just... The egg stage. It isn't hatched, so it's an egg.
