The world has been conquered by a race of alien called Parnormals. They look just like humans, except that they have pointier ears and most have green eyes. They have murdered every single last human being on the planet, except for a group of kids who have an underground room, where they have been hiding ever since the Paranormals came. They have a limited supply of food and only an old phone that hardly even works. You also think another group of humans have survived somewhere in Europe. The Paranormal have spotted your trail, and planning to hunt you down. What will you do?

Jo heard the Paranormals and scrambled through her backpack. She pulled out a hammer and started smashing her way out. "Come on, guys! Hurry!"

Ben took a pick ax out of her bookbag, without her noticing, and hammered away for his life. He has never seen the outside world when they took over, so it was a mystery.

Jo finally found a tiny hole the size of a bottlecap in the wall. She shoved her hammer through it, and pulling back, the wall tore out. It left a huge open space for all of them to walk through.

Ben saw the world now. The sky was red, there were many large fires, and it was chaos. There was no green grass, just burnt, brown ashes. And all the stores and houses were taken over.

Jo ran out of the cave, holding her jacket over her nose and mouth to block the smoky air, and beckoned for the others to follow her. Spotting a small abandoned hut, she pointed at it. The group stealthily ran inside and hid.
