NOT NEW??? seriously, I have no idea. Is there actually an age (or amount of time) to be on EC without being considered a newbie? Do tell...

YAY!!! That means I am no longer a newbie according to a few..... I RPed with @deannablanco3 once and was so sad to hear that she died! She was so awesome and nice!!! ☹️ RIP.

Deleted • 5 January 2012 at 10:09 PM

Sorry to hear that. RIP indeed.

So, according to your original question, in my opinion, it depends how long it takes to get adjusted to the game. If you get addicted to it right away once you start, you get into it more.

I still feel like a Newbie. Considering I took a long hiatus for over a year even though I had just barely joined then.

Now I'm trying to make my way around Egg Cave without getting bashed at with other users.

But it looks like I've passed my Newbie stage.
Until Egg Cave decides to add a new feature to the site then I become a Newbie again.

@isablah I agree with @chloekins...it depends how much you know about Egg Cave.

@isablah @kamoodle5 How do you know? Is it possible that she just quit? How did you find out if the account was deleted? Please don't tell me she's really gone...

@isablah
I think that it's more how accustomed to the site you are rather the length of time you've spent playing. I've been on this site probably less than a month, but I wouldn't consider my self a newbie. I'm not as experienced as a lot of people on here, but I've definitely got the hang of things. 😊

@peachy4657
She is dead. Her sister came on and told all about it yesterday.

@siri ...I feel like crying now. ☹️ She was an an awesome friend. One I'll never be able to talk to again. ☹️ Do you happen to know how it happened?

old usualy means wise. if your wise enough one eggcave(no what to do and well at it) then your oldie

Newbs are pretty much new people who don't know a lot.

it's hard to consider someone new or old by the account's age because some people make a new account and move into it.

Deleted • 6 January 2012 at 9:21 PM

Well, newbie is under 2 months, member is 2-10 months and oldie is 11+....😊

I feel like a newbie also. Don't listen to my profile. I went on a hiatus for 2 years, then came back. All and all, I've been on Egg Cave for about 6 or 7 months, I guess.

@qwaszx you're judging a book by it's cover 😊 even though that person is a newb you shouldn't ALWAYS think a person is a newb due to there low number in posts or them not having many friends or even by the total age of there account.

Many people don't have time to go chat on forums. some people delete there accounts because they get old of it and sometimes people only friend those who are truly nice and well, and ACTUAL friend. There are so many reasons why πŸ˜‹

even though I'm only been playing for like a year and half people ALWAYS have there share of being a newb πŸ˜‹

BTW I knew a new person who was only a month old, COMPLETELY new and they're VERY active trader even though they didn't know anything else on eggcave and it wasn't bad trading either, they even got a tine egg.(then they traded it for an onny)

I don't want to sound or be mean but no matter what I write I always sound mean :-( I just can't stand by a conversational fight and thus it ends up with people hating me xD yipee~...

I think 2-3 months. That's just because usually when newbs are around the month range, they don't trade or anything. :/
