Egg "Worth"?

Which eggs are considered "rare" and worth "a lot"? I'm new but several people have offered on my eggs and IDK what to do. Thanks.

To know what eggs are worth a lot, look at the Archives, and then click on the egg species and look for the Weighted Rarity number.

Numbers closer to 1 are VERY RARE. Numbers closer to 500 are VERY COMMON.

@zombers - Your roo is a 2011, right? If so, then the offer is probably pretty fair, but you could probably do better if you find someone who REALLY wants a roo. The worth of an egg really all depends on what YOU want and what the other trader wants.

For example, lots of people would trade their whole coves for a Macbot, but I don't really want one, so I would offer anything for one. So if you want to trade your roo for those creatures, go ahead, but if you're looking for an over-offer, find someone absolutely bent on getting a roo.

@whitefall - Not many people do, since it was announced on the blog the Macbot was rarest. But I really want a Doovoo and I noticed they had the same number. 😋

Weighted rarity is one thing that you can look at, but it's also important how much people like a certain creature. For example, tines aren't really as rare as a lot of creatures...but people REALLY like them, so they're super valuable.

@zombers Okay. Good luck trading! If you really want those creatures, then it might be worth it for you to trade. 😊 But if you're getting them to retrade, then you should know that those are all recent LEs and they're not worth very much. Most people already have them. Of course, even if you DO really want those creatures, I'm sure you could find someone else who would trade you all of those creatures, plus more. 😊
