Corruption Fairytale

Peony woke up, slightly dazed, but nonetheless alright and uninjured. The last memory she had was of getting lifted up by some force, and then tumbling down into an invisible hole. Where was she? Looking around, Peony noticed a small crowd of unconscious people, perhaps also endured this treatment. She glanced around the forest, and saw, hidden within one branch, there was a smile. It had noticed her stare, and slowly, more of it began to get revealed. First the head, then the body, limbs and at last, the tail. It was the Cheshire Cat! The cat grinned at her, and she decided to follow it.

Akira's eye squinted open and he sighed. Owww? He thought to himself. Akira sat up and looked at the other people nearbye. Most were still unconsious, he saw a girl get up and follow something. He got up to follow her.

Jian woke up in a strange area. His head pained from the fall. He couldn't remember anything from the incident or how he had gotten there, only falling. A girl seemed like she was in a trance, following something unknown

Peony glanced back, and saw two boys; one awaking, and one following her, following the Cheshire Cat. Normally, she would question the legitimacy of the Cat appearing wherever she was, but now was not the time for questions. It looked like it had something important to tell her, and she wasn't going to miss out, no matter what.

Jasper woke up. He didn't know where he was. He assumed that he got a sedative or something. Jasper glanced around, seeing other people. All of them were asleep, one was followf his toing a cat. For some reason, this place reminded him of a familiar place, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. It was on the tip of his tongue.Jasper decided to think about something else. Like a little girl with golden locks running away from something, like she saw a bear.

Akira's eyes finally focused again. His head throbbed, but he didn't care. Akira finally relised what the girl was following, a cat. That was smiling.

The Cheshire Cat finally stopped at a clearing. "Do you have something to tell me?" Peony asked "Ah, yes...." it had replied, with a thoughtful tone lingering on the end. "You see, young Peony, the world is in danger... only not 'your' world... but ours... The Land of Fairytales..." Peony's eyes widened, hanging onto every word "So, you see.... There have been some.. randomly chosen people from the real world to help... you are one, obviously... If you fail to save this world... you're trapped in the corrupted Paradise forever, you see... Many 'characters' have turned malicious.. no full list, though... There's another uncorrupted character awaiting you, but I know not their name... Good luck..." And with that last word, it vanished. Peony felt shivers running up her spine. What had just happened?

Peony jumped, aware of the voice behind you. "Oh, hello," she said in a remarkably calm tone "And who are you? Do you want me to explain what just happened between me and the Cheshire Cat?"

Peony stared at him for a while, before asking he took a seat on a nearby log. "So, you see..." she began, and told of what the Cheshire Cat had told her about. How the Land of Fairytales was in danger, and how all the characters in Fairytales were in danger, and how they were sent here, through random choosings.

Jian stood up and looked around. There were many more people who had fallen here. He went to one of the many people who were unconscious and started to poke her.

Kennedy opened his eyes. Woah. Where was he? There were lots of other people in the pit-like thing that they were in, but most were still asleep. He wandered over to a girl who looked like she was about to wake up.

Desinda laid amid a bunch of rubble motionless. The pain of each individual jagged rock digging into her backside caused her great discomfort as she groaned softly, stirring awake. Her eyes groggily opened cautiously as she slowly sat up. It took her a while to realize that she wasn't alone. Right next to her, a throwing knife was laying idly on the ground.

Reno winced. his back wasn't really broken, but it might as well be. he waqs really, really sore. he took a moment to open his eyes and asses the situation. Many people surrounded him, some still lying down. Reno sighed. He wasn't a people person.

Kennedy shook the girl awake. She gave him a glare then shot into a sitting position. "Where am I? Who are you?" She asked in an agitated voice. "My name's Kennedy. And I have no idea where we are." "I'm Silic." The girl said. Kennedy helped Silic up and ran off into the forest with her behind him.

Crypta lay in space low and deep underneath the surface. She could see the hole. It was small and white, an occasional figure moving past.

Eyes closed, chest aching, Crypta was on her chest. Her knife was still in her hand, grasped tightly. She grunted as she tried to rise to no avail. She fell back to the ground.

Her eyes fluttered open to see this space. Numerous people were around her. Some awake and rising and walking about, others still unconscious.

Reno got up slowly and walked away from everyone else. He came upon a beautiful girl, with snow white skin and ebony black hair. "Hello Reno!" She tittered. "I've been expecting you, come in and have some tea!" She grabbed him by that arm, her nails digging into his skin, and dragged him into the house.

Desinda shook her head in a vain attempt to get rid of her daze and mild shock. She had no idea how she got here. One second, she was twiddling around with her first ever throwing knife; the next, she was unconscious somehow on the ground in an unknown place with strangers all around. Rubbing the temples of her forehead slightly with one hand, she reached out to the side with her free hand to retrieve the knife again.

Everything seemed too vivid that it gave her a slightly throbbing migrane, which irritated her a bit. She had briefly heard another female talking about their purpose of being here but she had not paid too much attention.

Desinda brushed back a long dark purple lock behind one of her ears and gradually began to get up onto her feet.

Once she stood uneasily on her feet, Crypta put her small knife into a sheath in her pocket. Blinking her eyes to clear her vision, a smaller figure in red came skipping toward her. It was a little girl. A girl from her storybooks.

"Oh," the little girl began. "Are you Crypta Hoodlen?"

"Yes," Crypta replied.

"Com, come along!" the girl said happily, but quietly, in a whisper. She took Crypta's wrist and pulled her along in her skip, hiding in the trees.

Once the two hit a shadow, Little Red Riding Hood said in shaky uneven voice, eyes wide in fear "Help me. Help us. This world as is yours is in a horrible status." Her now obviously false smile returned and Miss Red Riding Hood vanished in the woods.

After finishing her explanation, she didn't bother waiting for the boy's reply, and got up. "Well, we've gotta restore this place, and, I'm gonna start right now!" She spun around, and ran into the woods. This place... was... familiar... it was on the tip of her tongue.. but she couldn't say it.. she just couldn't. In her frustration, Peony looked up for an answer, and she was faced with the tips of a castle. "Snow White..." she whispered to herself.

Crypta noticed another girl in the woods with her. She walked over and looked her up and down. What was this girl's relation to Crypta. "Why are we here?" she asked to her, slowly. "Who are you?" Crypta looked in the direction the girl was looking up at. Points of towers from a castle. Was this a trick?

Peony slowly turned around, and faced Crypta. "My name? it's Peony. Nothing else you need to know. And why we're here? Long story short, we're in a land of Fairytales which has been corrupted for some reason, and we, out of a random pool of people, have been chosen to save it. And that," she gestured to the castle "Is the castle of Snow White. Didn't you ever read fairytales when you were young?"

"Come on, drink up!" said snow white. Reno sat in a chair, unsure of if he trusted her. "Drink it," Snow White hissed, and her eyes turned red. Reno sighed, and drank the tea. He started feeling a little bit woozy. "There's a good boy," said snow white, her eyes back to normal. Reno fell to the floor, and fainted, as snow white and her seven dwarves crowded arround him.
