So I need a lot of help.... My mother has told me to cut my long nails... I need some ideas on what to use as my arguement soon when she sees I havent cut my nails...................

Tell her that you are an almost grown adult and that if she keeps on not letting you be independent then you'll never learn, say that this is one thing that you truly love about yourself. What parent can resist that?

@mightyeglantine, As long as they're not chipped and they're clean, they don't really need to be cut.

lol, I'm a real netballer, I can't stand to grow my nails past my fingertips. xP

Yeah i can't grow mine long either they always break. But even if you keep them clean, if they get too long they still look gross. But that's just my opinion.

@kuronos, If I grow mine too long, they chip or tear >.<
I have friends who try to grow claws by cutting their nails into triangle shapes and growing them really long. It's quite creepy.
