Hey, so my school is having an All-7th-Grader Science Fair, and my class FIRST had to type about 15 FULL pages for a LAB REPORT. AND HAD TO REVISE & RE-TYPE IT ABOUT 3 TIMES. I worked REALLY hard on it, and ended up getting a 174/200 on my Lab Report. My teacher told me that I needed more data. Now I have to put it on a Science Display Board for the Fair & it's due Wednesday (We had like... 4 days to do it..?). I have a feeling I won't WIN the science fair if my data isn't more sufficient & detailed. I want to win because, well, I want another picture of me in the yearbook. ;D Ain't I conceited? XD Well, it also publicly makes me known as smart too. đ and an honor. So my topic is, "The Influence of Color On Taste Perception". So I need to make a MORE DETAILED DATA TABLE & GRAPH. So in this experiment I tested people's perception on looks & taste. They had to see if there were differences between two sets of two cups by tasting them. I recorded their answers and put them onto a data table. Post please?(:

So the Lab Procedures for the Data is as follows:1. Fill one plastic cup with Sprite, fill the other plastic cup with Sprite that has food coloring in it.2.Ask participants to taste both cups (I put in 3, but I think I would need more), then record if they tasted a difference between the two cups.(1 & 2 are linked.)3. Fill one plastic cup with Coke, fill the other plastic cup with Sprite that has Coke-colored food-coloring in it.4. Ask participants to taste both cups, then record if they taste a difference between the two cups.(3 & 4 are linked.)And right now, my Data Table:Title: Did participants taste the difference between the Sprite & Coke-colored Sprite? #1 #2 #3 _______________________________YES | *checkmark for all 3*NO |

Ideas. . . a) hey... 3+ kids in my class did that last year!. . . b) get more participants. . . c) color it brown? So it looks like coke

OMG wish we did fun stuff like that ><

@smilies Everyone did different things. đ Some people didn't even do an experiment, just info. >< @meixiaotian Oh it looks exactly like coke already, I just need it to be more detailed and yeah. đ

Well, more tests.Oh, maybe you could have them rate 1-5 on how different they think they are?

@trishAnother test to try:Take some sugar. Put the sugar in two different cups. Color one cup of the sugar purple, and the other orange. Ask people if they taste a difference between the two.

@cqpkytty It's a good idea but it's just another concept of the clear Sprite and the Coke-colored Sprite. And it's too late to change anything else. /:

@trishYour science teacher should shut up, that's a good idea. My science teacher got fired today so I'm not having the best teaching yet.
