After you make a cove list, if someone goes to feed it they go to the next egg on your cove rather than the next egg in the list. I hope this is able to be fixed, as I LOVE the new feature π
brookie • 26 January 2012 at 2:49 PM
How can you love it if it doesn't even work yet? π
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 3:05 PM
@brookie I love the idea of it π
artemis • 26 January 2012 at 5:56 PM
I noticed the same problem. I also love the idea, but I hope this gets fixed soon.#covelists#bugs
meixiaotian • 26 January 2012 at 5:59 PM
Yeah, and also, you can add the same egg in twice, or more, I think.
artemis • 26 January 2012 at 6:09 PM
Yes, I did that by mistake and had to fix it. I'm not sure why they didn't make it so that you could see pictures of all the eggs, and just go through and click them like you do at Tim's...or at least make it like the Town Hall, where you can go through a list of names. I love the idea, but it could have been executed better. It's not very easy to use.

@artemisWell usually people feed by clicking:Ctrl+click and it opens a tab with it...then when you are done you just do:Ctrl+WAnd the tab gets deletedπI am guessing thats why...
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 6:15 PM
@orange I've actually never fed that way >.<
dionaea • 26 January 2012 at 6:16 PM
Yeah, feeding that way is faster too, since you don't have to wait for a new page to load every time.
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 6:17 PM
@dionaeaThat makes so much more sense!!
dionaea • 26 January 2012 at 6:23 PM
@boxofcrayonsI remember when I found a guide to this on the profile text of one of Thursdays_doves creatures it cut my feeding time in half XD It works better with google chrome than it does with IE though, at least on my computer. I actually have a guide to this feeding method up too now I think most oldies use this feeding method πEDIT: *groans* Just checked the covelists out and you can't add creatures from side-accounts D| Will stick with my regular feedlist for now....
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 6:27 PM
@dionaeaI just tried it out, it works pretty well with safari too. Geeze this is brilliant >.<
dionaea • 26 January 2012 at 6:30 PM
@boxofcrayonsI don't have Safari or Firefox, so I didn't know how well it works on there, but IE is like a sluggish mastodont compared to most other browsers, it's just so friggin' slow DX
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 6:40 PM
@dionaea Tell me about it! up until about six months ago I had only ever used IE 6! (Old version of IE) >.<
leopardclaws • 26 January 2012 at 10:05 PM
@dionaea This would help me so much! I tried to do it, but it didn't work. I use safari.
cqpkytty • 26 January 2012 at 10:08 PM
@boxofcrayonsThat's not a glitch. The cove tabs are for organizing your creatures; but the "next creature" button always refers to the next creature in the real cove.Because what if a creature is in multiple tabs? Would it go to two creatures at the same time?
boxofcrayons • 26 January 2012 at 10:34 PM
@cpqkyttyI didn't think that was what the lists were for... hmm, that changes it then I guess@leopardclawsI'm on safari too and it does work. Replace 'control' with command, and your problems should be solved ^.^

@boxofcrayonsI just made a list, and I think for the feedlists, you should post on your profile to tell users to feed the next egg in your list, not in your cove. That's just a suggestion, you DON'T have to use it. I too LOVE the new feature, though.
musicgurl333 • 26 January 2012 at 11:49 PM
@cqpkytty It wouldn't go to multiple tabs. It would go to the next creature in THAT list. So let's say I a list called "feeds" and a list called "favorites" and my florn was in both. When I'm in the "feeds" list and I click "next" on my florn, it would take me to the creature that was next in the "feeds" list. Same thing for my "favorites" list. The fact that it's in two different lists shouldn't affect anything.
cqpkytty • 26 January 2012 at 11:52 PM
@musicgurl333But the lists don't work that way.In order to make them work that way, they would have to be multiple coves.
james-bond • 27 January 2012 at 12:03 AM
Good point!
musicgurl333 • 27 January 2012 at 12:18 AM
@cqpkytty I know. βΉοΈ I thought that they did work that way and this was just a glitch, but now I think you're right and that was never how it was intended to be used. It's still helpful, and I still like it, but I don't think it's as awesome as it could have been.
leopardclaws • 27 January 2012 at 7:37 PM
@boxofcrayons I tried and it still didn't work. It'd be cool if I could get it to work, but I don't really mind feeding every creature.
witchcraft • 28 January 2012 at 8:47 PM
@boxofcrayons I don't think it's a bug...they just made it like that. π They might fix it, though.
