What do you want to be when you grow up?

From the time I was able to watch television, I memorized the channel number for Animal Planet. I'm only in 7th grader, so I don't know specifically, but I'm thinking of being a wildlife biologist, wild animal behaviorist, or a veterinarian. What about you guys?

I'm studying art, writing, russian... I wanted to be an artist originally (the kind who did paintings, drawings, sculpture etc) but now I'm aiming more towards writing (more specifically playwriting) so I guess right now I'm aiming to be a playwright 😉 (And maybe author as well) But of course I'm still a lover of painting and drawing and all that so that shall still be a huge part of my life. So.. an artist still in the end. I consider writing an art form.

As a kid, everyone told me to be a veterinarian because they thought I knew so much about animals 😋

I'd love to be an artist of some sort, but my family always seems to steer me away from that. And same thing with an author {but more specifially novelist}

Otherwise, I'm utterly clueless.

I'd love to be something related to more 'modern' forms of art - like anime, animation or advertising (yes, I think it's an art form in itself 😋) or something that'll let my creativity flow to no ends. I also wouldn't mind being a graphic designer, as long as it's good for creativity ^^

But being Asian, my parents will either make me become a doctor or lawyer, which I both hate. Gah.

Everyone tells me to be a vet too 😋 I want to do something with endangered species *cough* Bactrian Camels *cough* There's not that many of them, only about 800 and their popularity is predicted to decrease 80% in the next 50 years. I'd be fine with becoming the Jane Goodall of camels 😋 I'm crazy enough to follow them in a camel suit XD

I can't actually acheive something like art because my parents say it is not professional enough. They said if i want to do art, i should do it as a hobby and not as a career. And besides... My mind goes dead once i hold a pencil.
And because i'm asian... My parents want me to become a doctor. And i think it is cool how they help but... Blood tests, shots, flu test stuff... *shivers* x_x
because of that i wanna be a herbalist but... Haha. I have to remember every herb and every herb's use and every conmbination and every box. ;~;

Dog groomer (I couldn't be a vet; needles/blood make me cringe)

Crime scene investigator (Directly contradicts my fear of exposed blood)
Or... Anything else with animals that doesn't involve needles, or blood.😋

When I was little, I watched Animal Planet all the time~ (:

I'm thinking I'll be a video game designer, because it combines my love of gaming with my passion for art. ^^
But I've also always had an interest in a few other things as well:

- Vet (I know more about animals than my science teachers!) 😉
- Author
- Archeologist
- Astronomer
- Pretty much anything along the lines of artistic careers
- Video game tester/debugger



...I really need to decide on my career soon. *is a Senior next year* xD
