Oh, the horror...
I can't believe what I just witnessed...
So I'm sitting on my laptop, playing around.
And I heard smashing glass, followed by my mom yelling "Nooooo!"
I ran downstairs, expecting that she just dropped another glass plate.
But I was wrong.
Horribly, dreadfully, unfortunately wrong.
And what I saw on the ground, shattered to bits--
Our glass measuring cup.
I treasured that thing.
It gave me some sort of joy in baking foods and measuring liquids.
Staring at its lifeless body on the ground as it was scooped bit by bit into the trash...
Oh, the pain, the misery...
That thing was older than ME.
For real.
Let us all remember the long life of my glass measuring cup...
And may he find peace in the big cabinet up in the sky.
R.I.P. forever.
I didn't even get to say good bye...
</3

JK. I'm not that disturbd. I am pretty sad about it, though. Oh well. xD

At first, when I saw "smashing glass" and the title, I thought, poor fishy D;

May the poor measuring cup find a good cabinet up in the sky.
I hope the poor thing had a good life xD

@Icymuffin Your post actually made me laugh so hard I think I cried a little. xD

Nahhhh, the last fish I had died a few months back. And he didn't get ripped to shreds by broken glass or anything. x3

But that measuring cup was so much more than a disposable pet... *headdesk* I have my drama turned all the way up tonight..... xD

Sooooooo, tragic. I hope one day you'll find a new measuring cup, of course, he can never be replaced. I know how you feel, my hamster died on the 26. :'(

Oh nu!
I know what you mean though.
Except, in a different way.

When the store Borders closed down, I felt like my world was over. The one place I go for books, I felt like home there.
I hated librarys, why? Because I couldn't keep the books.

But few weeks ago, a book store opened, right where Borders used to be, it's called BAM. I walk in there, nd you know what? It was still Borders, just the name changed. Everything was the same as it was before. I felt home again.
Now I'm hoping to go there tomorrow.
