BRIEF STORY
We were all locked away like animals. Forced to live in cages or small rooms that kept us weak and scared. We learned to live in fear; it was our way of life in order to stay alive.

ELEMENTALS AND HUMAN/ANIMALS

Some of us are elementals, humans who have been given special powers on either of the four elements: water, earth, fire or air. Us elementals can only use our power in the 'games' which are spoken about in the next post by me. If we choose to use our powers in our cells or anywere else but the 'games', we are beaten.
The others are half human/animal. We can have fangs, feathers, tails, claws, and much more. We are also used in the 'games' with the elementals.

THE LAB

The Lab is exactly that, a lab. No one knows its name though. They take people, random people they know the world wouldn't miss or those who had happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The take them in and do experiments.

EXPERAMENTS

Experaments on the elementals would involve either of the four elements. Experaments on the human/animals would include different types of animals so that they could give us the power of that certain animal. Depending on how old we are, or how strong we are determined the severity of the experiment.

TESTS

Everyone was put through tests to determine how much their bodies could take, how far they could push the muscles to work, what could their minds take. It was all tested, and not everyone could get through it.

THE 'GAMES'

A lot would die from the tests, from the beatings given by the guards, or from The Games. The horrible 'games' that all the guards put the subjects through. Two elementals and two human/animals put in one large, quarter mile long pit in the ground. Set loose on each other to fight to the death, for the entertainment of the staff.

Sparrow leaned up against her dark, cold cage in pure fear. She shivered violently at the freezing cold once a staff opened the door. He stamped up to Sparrow's cage and grunted at her skinny little sticks as arms. He was looking for two human/animals and two elementals for the 'games'. He grunted once more at pathetic little Sparrow and walked on, spating at the metal bars of her cage. Sparrow looked at the cage to her left. She saw the boy who she called 'croc boy'. She thought about smiling at him and did. She thought in her mind: "Why would you SMILE at croc boy? You dodnt even know him! You are a pure IDIOT!"

Winston saw her smile at him. He turned around and wagged his tail, as waving to Sparrow with it. Then Winston saw a guard look at him, as if examining him if he should be in the games. The guard smirked and opened the cage. as soon as Winston stood up, the guard grabbed him by the collar and led him to a dirtier room with much smaller cages and locked him up in one. Winston looked around and saw a girl fire elemental playing with fire, and a human/animal leopard boy. Winston knew that he was always a good chiose for the games. He was much stronger and bigger than 74% of all the elementals and human/animals in the whole place. The guards were still searching for one more before they started the game.

Sparrow looked away from Winston. A staff member with a wild pink mohawk walked up to her cage. He stuck a key into the lock and turned it. Sparrow backed into the corner of her cage in fear. The staff member grabed her by her little arm and pushed her into test room #112. Sparrow ran around looking for a door to get out of the test room. She hated tests, especially after her last test where she was almost killed during an electric shock. The staff member cursed and threw Sparrow onto a testing table, straping her bare feet down along with her hands. Sparrow didnt know what to do. So, out of defence she spoke back at the horrid staff member. "Let me go!" She yelled, trying to break free of the straps. The staff member just pulled out a sharp needle filled with a bubbly blue liquid as thick as syrup. Sparrow recognized the liquid from her last test. She closed her eyes tight, not wanting to see the needle pushed into her flesh.

Winston knew that he should treasure these moments, the moments before the game would start. He waited for about 20 mins, praying that he would not get killed, until a few guards came in; one clutching a young earth elemental boy by the neck. He tossed the boy into the fourth cage and a woman announced from inside the fighting ring "to let the game begin!" The cages opened and all the fighters raced out of their cages ready for battle.

Sparrow's scream was heard throughout the whole lab, even the games ring, as the huge needle was painfukky forced through her skin. The stap member slaped her in the check, yelling at her to shut up. Sparrow stoped screaming when the needle came out. Her mouth tingled for a moment before she felt her teeth get pointyer and grow into tiny fangs. Sparrow couldnt fell them with her hands because of the straps but could feel if with her tounge. The staff member unstraped Sparrow and pushed her into a treadmil room, chaining her dirty bare feet to the treadmil. He turned it on and Sparrow was forced to run. @okaysister

The fire elemental girl was the first to run out and Winston followed after her. When he heard the scream he got distracted and the fire girl scorched him. Winston turned around quickly and wacked her legs with his heavy, strong tail. She fell and the leopard boy pounced on her, sinking her sharp fangs into her left arm.

Sparrow ran untill she fell limp. The staff scribbled something down on a paper titled 'Fox Female Cage #264'. He then steered Sparrow into a wieght lifting room. Sparrow's legs felt like jelly and her head ached. The staff chained her hand to a 90 lb. wieght. Sparrow sighed and began to work, lying on the hard, concrete floor. When she stopped, the staff member hit her. Soon, Sparrow had bloody cuts and bruises all over her face from the beatings when she stopped lifting. After an hour, the staff gave Sparrow one last smack and unchained her hand, scribbled another mark on his paper, and threw Sparrow into her cage.

Appearence: she is tall on average, with black hair with a green tint, she also has armor plating (like a armordillos) covoring most her body, but if she really needs to she can 'discard' a few plates to get away and grow them back in a few days.
Personality: she very tough, and she may come off as 'mean' or cruel, but inside shes sensitive and kind.

Sparrow grabed a stone on the ground and engraved something on the cement wall behind her:

but thats basically why sorrow found you here

She put the stone down on the ground and read the poem over and over again out loud quietly. The others in cages stared at her but Sparrow didnt care. All she focussed on right now was the poem and a way to escape.

The earth elemental boy finally came out of his cage. Winston could tell that he was very weak because he was crawling. Winston left him alone and looked back at the fire elemental girl, who was burning the leopard boy's skin. He ran over to her and bit her in the back. She thrashed trying to get loose but tore her skin even more. The leopard boy saw the earth elemental boy and pounced on him and started to claw his face. The fire girl eventually kicked Winston in the belly and he broke loose. She let out a towering blast of fire and aimed it towards Winston and the other two. The leopard boy dodged it, but the earth elemental boy was burned badly. Winston started to run away from it but tripped and fell on his belly. Luckily, his plated armor protected himself from the flames.

J sat up in her cage, looking around. She knew she was going to either get tested more of get put in the games soon, and she wanted none of that. She heard a girl scream, but that was usual around here. She sniffed at the air, trying to figure out if any of the gaurds were around, before one walked up to her cage. They threw a metal thing at her and it bonked her on her back, but her thick, protective armor absorbed the impact, spreading out the blow along the scaly surface.

Sparrow saw a staff member with ratty brown hair. She ducked into the corner of her cage, but the man saw her hiding in fear. He laughed at her and spat, pointing his finger through the bars at her. Sparrow couldnt take it. She lashed as the the man, bitting his finger with her new fangs. The man screamed and tried to shake Sparrow off of him, but she wouldnt let go.

the gaurd came into J's cage, picking her up by the scruff of her neck. J tryed to curl up, to protect herself but the guard punched her in the gut, hard, the threw her on the floor. "Worthless." He said, and left. J coughed a bit, before curling up just enough so she could still see around her but was protected.

Sparrow was finnialy shacken off of the man who was not clutching his bleeding hand. Sparrow watched him walk away with a blank expression on her face. She dicided to get some sleep. Curled up in the corner, Sparrow was soon sound asleep.

Sparrow woke up and sighed. Like normaly, it was time for the games. A staff unlocked her cage and sneaked her into the 'arena' without letting his boss see. Sparrow didnt bother to try getting away. She simply followed behind the man who was squezing her hand so tight that Sparrow could feel it crying for mercy.

Reno pressed himself into the corner of his cage as the guards walked by, picking kids for the games. Thankfully, his fire powers weren't very good. They only picked good people for the games.

Sparrow was tossed into the arena, waiting for her opponent. She sighed and practiced her fighting skills. Bite, claw, block, punch, kick, scratch. The usual.

Winston was finally let out of the games as they started a new one. One person died but the other two were just injured badly. Winston got threw back into his cage, along with the other fighters. He noticed that the fox girl wasn't in her cage. "She's probably in the games." he thought. "I hope she doesn't die."
