Arielle sighed, her brown hair was streaked with dirt from her previous endeavor in the jungle. She wanted to go back her home and be with Cessna and Jayden, maybe even talk with her mother Limina or maybe she would get the chance to see her father as well. But he had never accepted her, according to him, she wasn't even his daughter. She didn't even exist in his world, or even in the world.
She hoped to go find Emily, another girl who was the forbidden third child.

Silic shivered. The box was damp and cold. If only she never been born at all. Living as a third child in these areas only means death. Her parents had kicked her out when she was 12 when the police had almost found out about her. Not wanted to be risked, her parents tossed her out as her only option was to stay hidden.

Arielle tried to find her but with no success and instead tried to search for anyone else that might not know that she was a Shadow Child. It was hard to keep a third child hidden, especially when the parents were always in the center of attention, either under suspicion, and the other option not that interesting.
