The Taint

(Based off the game. loosely. really, really, really loosly.) there has been a taint, of some sort, that the goverments put into the water supply. it reacts to people with 'speacial' traits, changing them. will you help us survive, or will you hunt us down?

Sound walked down the street. she started to feel thirsty, and leans down at the water fauntan, and takes a deep, refreshing drink. she felt dizzy, and as she passed out she saw a long, black car pull up, and she closes her eyes.

Jasper was in the forest. He felt thirsty. Even though there were rumors about some strange water here, he ignored it. Jasper refused to believe it. He got out his water bottle and drank some water. It didn't taste good. The water tasted like medicine. The next thing he knew, Jasper blacked out.

I IS COOKEHZILLAH. XD

Silic was tired and thristy. She wasn't anywhere near the water fountains, but a vending machine. Full of water and juice. She quickly dug in her pockets, only to find no money. "DANG IT!" She cried, banging the vending machine. "I'm so freaking thir--" Klunk. (I feel weird saying that word. Especially after....) A water bottle fell out. She looked down at it, then slowly picked it up. She stared at it for a long time, debating if it would be considered stealing. Her dry mouth responded with a small croak, and with one swipe, she opened the cap, and gulped half of it down. "That felt so much better." She said, wiping her mouth with her sleeve. Suddenly, as if a heat wave had just washed over her, she was sweating, and her vision started to shake. Before she could say anything, she was held up on a choke hold. The black sleeve was all she saw, before passing out.

THAT WAS LONG.

Sound wakes up in a odd crate, and loks around. She rattles the bars. "Where am i?! someone help me!" she yells, before starting to cry. A doctor in a lab coat walks in. "dont cry, your now part of something amazing my dear, you and the others we affected will start a new race! A race of superhumans!" Sound suddenly lunges at the doctor. "I dont want to be a F*** New race! i want to be myself!" she yells, and the doctor back hands her acroos the face, hard.

Jasper woke up, dazed. His vision was a bit blurry and it felt like his insides had been frozen and microwaved. He heard a person screaming/cussing at someone else. Then, he realized that he was in a stupid crate. Jasper was caged up like an animal. He cursed.

Waking up in a cramped crate, she screamed. A throbbing headache seared through her head. Her eyes felt like they were being ripped apart. Rope-like veins pulsed throughout her. She gripped her head, curling into a tight ball while she continued to scream.
~*~**~ Too lazy to make Syrus drink.

Syrus woke up in a crate. He heard a bloodcurdling scream from the one next to him. Forcing himself to turn around, he clanged his head on the bars a few times, hurting himself. There was a girl, curled up and screaming. Rope-like veins embraced her, pulsing along the way. No. Way. "S-Silic?" He whispered, not knowing what was going on.

The male doctor punchs jasper in the face, and pulls his hand out. "Ouch!" she says, and leave the room. A new pair of doctors walk in. "Look like these two are awake, and thats ones going through a stage two reaction." She says, and injects something in silics arm, stopping the headach and pulsing veins. "all better. Now... what about the boys? do we need to give them a big injection of the power plus? nothing seems to have happened to him yet." She said, speaking about jasper and syrus.

As if shutting down, her eyes lost their light and she slowly uncurled, the screams stopping abruptly, and the veins slowly fading back in. She stayed motionless, eyes still open.

"Where going to breed you once your powers come out." The doctors say, and they inject all of hem exept silic with the power boost. Sound grabs her head, and all the metal in the room got twisted and mangled.

The doctor laughs. "Too bad! you dont have a choice!" The doctor says sarcasticly, and then suddenly has a metal bar through her head. She falls over, dead. Sound had her eyes covered, and all the bars on her cage were gone, emmbedded in the doctor.

He crawled over to Silic, who was laying still, eyes open as if in a trance. "Girl, you gotta regain your conscience before I knock you out again!" He cried, dragging her body out.
