Drew patted Ash on his head. "We'll think of someway to get us out. Promise." Horus seemed to agree, as he tried repeatedly to get out of the cage by banging his body against it. Drew stopped Horus from doing it, and gave Horus a bit of bread from his pocket.

Ash pawed on Drew's pocket, waiting for food. Jesse's silver hair went slightly over her face as she picked up Ash. Ash squirmed and wiggled. After a few minutes, he stopped. "Here, Ash. Some nice warm hot dogs for you." Jesse said softly into the cat's ear as she fed Ash a piece of hot dog.

Drew waited impatiently. There was absolutely no chance of them escaping unless someone opened the cage. What did those....things plan to do to them anyway?

Horus looked at Ash curiously. He wasn't a human like Drew, so he probably was a bird too. He had never seen a bird who walked on his wings though, and one that had a grey beak. Ash is one weird bird.

She let out another ear piercing scream, but stopped abruptly. Her eyes widened in fear as she curled tightly into a ball, blocking out all sounds. She trembled, muttering something incoherent along the lines, 'My name is Silic..' With a shaky voice.

She ignored him, and only curled up tighter. Fear showed itself upon her. She kept saying 'My name is Silic' as if she'll lose it.

Drew wanted to comfort her, but they were in different cages. He slipped his hand through a hole and held her right hand. Maybe that would calm her down, let her know that she wasn't alone.
