Feeding - White box?

I have yet another problem with Egg Cave...

I was feeding @kittyt like I do every day [some EC, and her cove is dying, so why not?]. Then I clicked on her creatures to feed them, and a white box appeared - y'know, like it does when you click the button to write a description for your creature.
I thought it was a glitch, maybe I was hacking, but it happened with all her creatures. Then I thought, "OK, maybe it's just some kind of lag at that one minute I was clicking."
So I went over to Ian's cove. Same thing.

Is anyone else getting this?
