oh no...feed button update :o

i dont understand how it works. i tried pressing them but i dont see any feeds nor EC update. i cant feed random people like that 😋 can anyone explain to me whats happening, please?

If it works eventually it will change to a food item, show a message from the pet and the amount of EC earned. Sometimes this takes a while, I have super fast internet, so no problems for me, but I've heard other people complain about it being slow. Also it sometimes doesn't register for me if I dont press the center of the button...
