There was a spider in my room.

But then I threw a book at it.
So I guess you could say, Ray Bradbury killed the spider.

Spiders are scary. I mean I'm not super squealy-scared of them, but I understand why many fear them to that point. If you look at one long enough, living or under a microscope, they are pretty freaking complex looking for such little creatures (and that's talking about body structure, not its web or behavior or anything like that). They may be tiny, but they just are scary looking because everything about them is so detailed. I love them, to look at them, but I won't lie and say they don't send shivers down my spine. I wish I was still that crazy kid that caught spiders and begged to keep them as pets. XD

@metaphor I have arachnophobia (fear of spiders) so when I look at a picture of a tarantula, I squeal like crazy, get a sudden burst in my heart and close the book. Goodnight.

Good thing you did through the book, some people say you swallow 8 spiders a year when you sleep. This is false
Spiders like warm dark places so 8 is too low of an estimate

A few months ago, I was in my bedroom, getting ready for bed, and I saw this giant spider on my ceiling.

I went in the bathroom and grabbed toilet paper to pick it up and squish the spider, but when I went to touch it it jumped off the ceiling, landed on m bed, and crawled underneath. I was screaming bloody murder. XD

And there was this spider in my bathroom too. I think I made a topic about it. I would go in and put on face creams over the sink and it followed me all over the place.

Two days later, it was standing on the ceiling right above the sink. Then it crawled over to the bathroom closet.

I threw a soaked facecloth at it. o3o

I found a spider in my sink.

I hate spiders. I used to think their little deceased spirits would come back and haunt me. oAo

Back to the sink spider.

I filled a cup with water, dumped its contents over the spider, waited until it was swept into the hole at the bottom, turned the sink on to flush it down, and plugged the hole just in case it survived.

Yeah spiders are quite detailed. I find them cool and creepy at the same time. I like playing with the little ones if I see any and watching the big ones. There was one on my bathroom ceiling a few days ago and it was quite big, it kept on dangling of the ceiling. I was just watching and hoping it didn't land on my head. It was night time, so when I went back in the morning it wasn't there, wonder what happened to it...
Another time quite some time before, I saw a mouse eat a spider............yeah not the best of experiences in life............

One time there was a cricket in my kitchen. I don't like any bug in my house! I don't care what it is! whether it was a fruit fly or a spider! Butterflies are okay though, outside. So, about the cricket, it was like 1 1/2 inches big. and I almost stepped on it. So I screamed bloody murder aaallll the way into the living room and I didn't go back into the kitchen for a few hours after my dad killed and removed it. If it was a spider I think I wouldn't go back in there for a few days o.o'''

@kittenkid1 haha i once found a grasshopper outside with a broken leg and i nursed it back to health.... but then one day it tried to escape (didn't work; i live in an apartment) and then we decided to let it go 😊
