may-' Pixle cut off as the door let out a creepy sounding creek, freezing a bit as Charlie grabbed her hand, but trying not to show it. Pixle swallowed tightly and watched the shadows 'wonder who's been stalking us then...' she muttered lowly

'Stay close to the house in the shadows. Its our best defence, but they probably already know we're here.' Chalie slid around the house. The figure appeared to be a man.

Pixle nodded quickly, following him closely, her eyes glinted a bit and her ead low 'positive they do...' she mumbled, swallowing her fear as she followed Charlie

They closed in on the porch, Charlie could hear voices. 'Can you hear them too?' directing the question at Pixle. Charlie's tattoo felt as if it was burning into his skin.'It HURTS!' he excalimed

Pixle shook her head slightly 'I'm fine..just...' she shuddered slightly, a finging in her head as she walked around in front of the house, pulling up her hood andd watching from the shadows, through the window 'mnh...'

Charlie stood next to Pixle, he scanned the room. Something was glowing on the coffee table. Its blue light cast shadows around the room. Charlie could see a man in a dark leather trench coat near the table.Charlie heard the Raspy Voice.
'Pixle can you hear them?"
'So young, so delicate, the balance of Earth. The prophecy was set since the day of his birth. It shall be time when the stars align' hissed the voice, 'She shall come valiant and true, delivering the messgage in what to do. They shall...' something cut the voice off.......

Pixle tried to focus, she couldnt hear much, the ringing in her head started blocking out the noises, she could almost barely hear Charlie 'r-roughly' she muttered as she watched, getting an idea that would probably kill her 'Lets get a closer look!' she hissed, backing up to the tree that stood next to a shattered window, Climbing quickly up the branches, she jumped into the broken window and landed softly on the carpeted walkway above the room, she ducked into the shadows, watching closely, her eyes widened a bbit.

Charlie followed suit, his landing not as graceful. The floor surprisingly didn't creak. Steping into the shadows, Charlie noticed the man, he walked toward a closed door.
'Should we follow him?' he wispered to Pixle

Pixle nodded slightly, grinning a bit 'Why not? as long as he doesnt notice your lime colored hair' she muttered, smiling a bit teasingly as she got up and quickly followed after him

'Ha, we never got a chance to dye it back. I bet satalies can see me!' They hung close to the wall, feeling thier way with thier hands. Charlie felt somehing pastey beneath his hands. It must have been the stars. The door was open a crack, peering inside they saw......

Charlie saw that trench coat man holding the glowing devise. Its light pulsated, and he disappeared. Strange thought Charlie, he did a double take of the room.
'Pixle, did you see that?!?' he exclaimed. Something clattered to the left of Pixle. Charlie flicked on a flashlight. Illuminating the room he found more stars, some looked as if they were slashed with a knife. A knife with a big blade!
Charlie turned to Pixle 'I don't think we're safe anymore,' Pointing to a picture of them stained in red.

Pixle nodded quickly, she turned sharply and swallowed a bit audibly, her eyes widened a bit as she watched the picture 'yyyyea I dont think so' she murmured, the rat squeaked and jumped out of her sleeve, running into the room 'Trouble no!' she hissed 'crud...' she murmured, looking back at charlie 'what now...' she muttered 'if we stay we might get killed but....' she sighed, looking from the picture back to the room, it was dark and pretty silent 'he's watching us...' she muttered, her eyes were glassy and almost lifeless as she took a step back.

'Pixle, is he still here?' he asked. 'We should get going. Is there anything else you haven't told me?' Charlie asked, hoping to sound pleasnt. He cared more for Pixle's safety than his own. She is his best friend afterall.

Charlie concentrated hard and the rat followed. 'Get in the car' he screamed. Charlie handed Trouble to Pixle, 'That was really close, what was that thing?!?' He hoped Pixle had some kind of answer.

'I..I don't know...' she yapped back, jumping into her seat and slamming the door, her eyes wide and more green than grey, Trouble curled in her lap, shaking. 'Is she going to be ok in there?' Pixle muttered, looking over at Charlie.
