Lost at...the city?

PROLOGUE:
You are comfortably sleeping when a loud BANG wakes you. In the confusion you fall out of bed. Looking out the window you see a building fall. It's not an earthquake,not a bomb, not anything you've ever seen.
But you've heard of it.
And it is
The Lagra.

WHAT IS THE LAGRA?:
it is a huge creature as big as half a skyscraper. It's like a large snake or eel. Water floods wherever it goes. It's skin is bright grey and has gold markings and it's eyes are icy blue. No one has survived it's attacks... of course, until now.

I cannot always be online. So if I leave for a long time. Just continue without me.

EVERYONE: I think we have enough people to start, but more can join whenever they want!

Reno looked out of the window at the giant beat. The he ran to his bed, jumped in, and flung the covers over his head. The sound of his quick, nervous breathing filled the room.

Kay slammed the door hard. Several other loud crashes nearly deafened her.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?!"
She screamed, her fear giving her adrenalin. The crashes died down a little, as if answering her.
"when will it leave? Will someone have to go out there and kill it?"

Jasper stood, froen in shock. A few seconds ago, somehow, the place had flooded. A humongous serpent slithered in. It's eyes were icy blue, it was so cold, it froze Jasper. Its shining scales were bright gray, like graphite. Jasper couldn't believe it. The creature cannot be true. On the news, he heard that some people had mysteriously disappeared because of an animal. Everything made sense to Jasper. It was this animal; this heartless serpent that had killed those innocent people. Sooner or later, Jasper knew that he was going to die today. The serpent slithered towards him, its body was almost floating in the water. It stuck out its forked tongue and hissed menacingly.

Kennedy hid under his desk, hardly daring to breathe. He schrunched into a ball. Why wouldn't it just go away?

Pixle was wide eyed as she backed away from the window, running into the closet, she had been busy moving in, the only thing that she had managed to get in was her box of sketch books, half of them were empty anyway so she left them by the door, cowering in the shadows

Jasper backed away from the huge snake. He walked backwards slowly, a bit scared if it'll kill him. The water made it hard to walk, but the snake had no trouble. It seemed as if it was helping it.

not TOO much has happened really, don't worry.

The LAGRA thrashed and dove and rose as if looking for something. What if the town was hiding something more than the fact the LAGRA lives nearby?

The LAGRA crashes through town hall.
what is it doing?


NOTE: Since I think it would be interesting, I'll let people say from the lagra's sort of view. Plus it would give it character, you know what I mean? 😸

The rumbling of the LAGRA vibrated all the way to her house. This was dangerous-- especially because she lived only a block away from where the LAGRA was. Her desk shifted as she was under it. It was just like an earthquake... but more dangerous.

Relief flooded through Jasper as the creature disappeared. He was freaked put. The water had drained away slowly. He decided to skip school today. That animal had scared the living daylights out of him and he didn't want to die. Not yet anyways.

Kay crept out and looked around, or at least tried to. She was swept away in a gush of water which carried her to what WAS her living room. Her cat was perched horrified at the top of the stairwell, which remained relatively intact. She winced in guilt. She had forgotten Hallow! She was lucky he was safe at all! She got on the stairwell and looked around to see if anybody else was there.

Reno poked his head out from under the blankets. It looked safe. He climbed out of bed and took a step forward. A splash sounded as his foot landed. He looked down to see a layer of water an inch deep on the floor. He ran to the door. He turned the knob. Locked. He ran to the window. Locked too. He looked, frightened, down at the water. It was now 2 inches deep. He ran for his sketchbooks, only to find them gone. He screamed in frustration and fright.

Kennedy stretched, getting all of the kinks out of his back and looked out of his window. The city was a wreck. Buildings had fallen, others were almost dystroied. He looked at his own house. It was completly untouched. Considence? He wasn't sure.

The water was up to 5 inches now, and Reno was getting kind of desperate. He grabbed a hardcover book, and threw it at the window. Nothing happened, except the book fell on the floor and got wet.

Kay looked around frightened,
when will it end?
What will happened afterwards?
Is she alone?
Her friends at school,
Her neighbours,
Would ANYTHING be the same?
Her desk was floating in the water. She dove after it and tried to pull it to the steps too. The water-which was about 7 inches now, made it quite easy to pull. After it was on the steps she looked at her things: pictures,drawings,her laptop (which was a water-proof kind thank goodness!) and a bag of chips she was meaning to eat. She petted Hallow and tired to ignore her shivering.

On a random note: where is everyone else 😋

Kennedy throught that maybe he should help some of the other people. He got out of his house and started walking. When he looked back, his house was perfect surrounded by destroyed buildings. Maybe it was just random?
