Just because she lied about eating a CANDY BAR?

Just a few days ago there was a hit and run a few miles away from where I live. There were two old couples in wheelchairs going along the sidewalk and a car hit them from behind and took off. I had seen an image of the scene and their had been a stream of blood running along the sidewalk.

People are freaking careless and stupid these days.

i know; i saw that article today earlier....

i remember that when i was very little, i asked one parent if i could have a chocolate chip chewy bar for breakfast; got a no, asked the other parent, got a yes, ate the chewy bar....

i didn't get another chewy bar for a week. and even though i thought it was too harsh at the time, it definitely taught me a lesson in a MORAL, ETHICAL way totally unlike this crazy punishment.

My sis was going on the computer today, (Yahoo is the homepage on my parent's computer) and I saw the headline for that. I didn't read the article, but I was thinking the same thing. >.<

How could someone do that to a 9-year-old girl? I mean, I've lied about several things like that. tHe worst that's happened to me was not being able to come online for a day or two.

But forcing her to *run*, until the point where she dehydrated and later died; And out of every punishment on Earth, if one was needed at all, why running?

This is why I hate people, in general. Some people can be nasty and mindless for no reason at all.
