Thinking about getting a bettafish

Does anyone have one? Are they easy to care for? Anything I should know before getting one? Do they need a heater in the tank? Tell me your bettafish stories 😊

@boxofcrayons i have one. And we just got it a tank yesterday.

!) DONT GET A FEMALE they look ugly
2) I have a crown betta,more fins i guess
3) there kinda easy to care for
4) I dont think they NEED a heater. Mine has lived a year and it never had one


Ooo mu betta changes color,some of its fins turn red 😃 its blue with a black face and SOME of its fins change red. Some its name is Sasuke XD

I've had one but my mom was the one who'd always care for them. We has more than one and obviously, we had to split them up otherwise they'd fight each other.
