Haircut Help~ Gosh, I have so many problems.

SO HEY THERE. This may not have been the first topic you've seen me post about RL problems. >< c:
But I have alot.

This time, I need help with a style for my hair. My mom is forcing me to cut it. So yeah. I still want to look nice. People laugh you know,.

Details about my hair:
1-2 inches past shoulders, black, overgrown bangs pushed to side. Medium length~


What's trending? I need it at least 2 inches shorter and my bangs have gotta get shorter~!

Haha, jk. Layers? Angled bangs will keep them to the side, but shorter like your mum wants.

@skylark The thing I don't get about layers (even tho I've had layers 4 life X)) is that do they take a shape? Or stay the same as before you cut your hair, but only thinner? Or does it stick to your face? O___o

It depends on your type of hair. If you have curly hair, layers are not helpful. Wavy? Sometimes. Straight? Totally. 😋
Most of the time, all. But if you straighten your hair a lot, they're really helpful

@skylark Thanks for the useful info! ^.^ I have puffy hair. ._. But, I like to wave-ify it with braids during the night. So I still need layers that can support braids. 😋

Help please. ._.' I'm getting it cut tomorrow and I'm so afraid, all my haircuts turned out hideous. ._.'

When people layer their hair, does it change how it looks? I have longer layers, and was wondering if the stylist cuts where you see my layers, will it make a difference? o.o I want NO MAJOR DIFFERENCES.
