Sooo... I've been eating. Like, a lot. I'm wouldn't consider it an eating disorder, but... I can't stop eating.

>-< Every day I'll come home and grab a couple snacks, put them in a big baggie, and run up to my room and eat them while on the computer.

I hate it so much.

But I can't stop.

One day I'll tell myself that this is the last day, but it's just so tempting.

I eat when I'm sad. I eat if something looks good. I'll even eat if I'm not hungry. I just need something. Nevermind the fact that the foods I keep eating aren't the healthiest. >.<

When I get halloween candy, Valentine's chocolates, etc., I eat most of it pretty quick. I can't even help it. When I was little (and I still do this occasionally) I sneak a ton of foods and desserts. -_-

Can I get a little help over here?

@dreamer
Hey, me too! XD

The thing is.... I'm not gaining fat 8D.

Just....

1) Take a post-it

2) Write down profanity and caps to make it look like you're screaming.

3) Put in on the fridge, or wherever the food is.

4) If all fails, take some rope, tie it up so you can open it, and give it all to your relative/friends. Make sure you tie them tight! You'll be an AWESOME TROLL.

@Hayz Well I am. And I have. Since I was little. xD

I blame my low self-esteem. And my stupid tonsils which are enlarged and that make me run out of breath faster, which keeps me from excersising.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll try that. ^^

Couple of stuff I picked up..
(brackets are mine)

Replace that urge with a hobby. go out and run. it works. any additions a person has needs to be replace with another. so go and work out because that will become a healthy high for you.
(lol)

chew gum it tricks the mind into think your full
(it works! but i would get aspartame-free stuff, like bubblegum)

Willpower is the key!
But also drink water,sometimes you can be actually thirsty and not hungry! This worked for me!I drink a cup of warm water before I eat so I do not over eat!
(Lots of '!'!)

try drinking green tea, or chewing gum, or brushing your teeth after your done eating a small portioned meal. I do that to curb my hunger & I find it really helps
(good one)

(I wouldn't run, just take a nice walk. Who knows? You might meet someone like in those romance movies xD)

@dreamer

Alright. I can give the best advice I can but only because this has worked for me and people I know.

It all depends on how many meals you eat a day. Ideally, you should eat 3, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In between meals, you should limit to small snacks like fruit, yogurt, snack bars, anything that can take the edge off of hunger for your next meal.

Secondly, drink lots of water. Water can help curb off hunger if you need something to eat/drink instead of worrying about what you are stashing.

Usually the common case of eating like constantly like snacks is during routines or when you are bored. So since you are on the internet, you could possibly be bored or occupied or both. I would not say, HEY. You should get off the internet, I would say maybe as you get up to grab another snack DO ANYTHING BUT THAT. Paint your nails, read, write constantly.

Drink water, grab fruit. Something sweet. Look towards what you are eating. If they are sweets, grab something that is an alternative to that like things that give you energy or have a regulated amount of sugar and is healthy. Sometimes you could be thirsty instead or are lacking something in your diet. If it's becoming a problem that you are worried about, ask whoever primarily buys what you are eating to stop. Or to hide them. D:<

I am not sure what would work for you. ._.

@Skylark Those seem helpful! 😃 Lemme see:

1. THe thing is, my mom doesn't come home from work till 5 pm, my dad doesn't come home till after 9. I can't go outside and run around when my mom's not home. In the summer I do like swimming, so I can save this one for the future. ^^

2. I can do that. 😃 Gum also focuses your mind better when doing work (or so I've heard...)

3. The cup-of-warm-water-before-eating thing is actually a brilliant idea. Warm water really ruins my appetite. That's going on my list. xD

4. I like tea 8D And I'll brush my teeth after my meals. I should get into the habit. xD

Wanna keep yourself busy? Join RPs! x3

And when all RPs haven't been going on for a while, get on Fanfiction.Net or Fictionpress.net !

Fanfic. is where Fans make stories of anime, books, shows, and all that stuff. Fictionpress is a site where there are stories..... made by you. 😋 Ficpres. = Sister site of Fanfic.

Trish? Isn't it @dreamer? XD

@Dreamer I have the same problem. I'm surpised I don't look like a bus.

I usually just try to take my mind off of it, but like..
talking if I have to.

In RL, I really don't talk much. Surpising? Yeah, but it helps.

But thinking does too. I'll get lost in my thoughts and I shut everyone and everything out.

And writing. I can sit and write for hours, until my hand cramps. Lol.

^ These things usually distract me from my stomach-that-is-trying-to-eat-me

@dreamer ._. Same... But I'm on some medicine that messes with my appetite so I literally can't stop. :/
But some things that work for me are:
Having a family member hide all the sugary foods, leaving the healthy stuff out for when you really are hungry.
Drinking lots of water. It tricks my mind into thinking I'm full.
Chewing gum, it gives my mouth something to do.

I fail at giving advice...

@Dawnie Same exact deal with me! I don't talk much, I'm an extrmely deep thinker, I could write (or, well, occassionally type, I hate blisters xD) forever if I had the chance.

@dreamer Try having a piece of minty gum as soon as you get home. That way you'll have something to chew on, plus if you DO try to eat a snack, it won't taste very good mixed with the mint. Also drink a lot of water. Sometimes dehydration can be confused for hunger.

One last suggestion, have a piece of fruit instead of something sweet. Most people don't get enough fruits and veggies anyway, and the sweetness of the fruit will help satisfy your sugar craving. 😊

@Dreamer
Don't stop snacking! It's baaaad. You must eat more fruits (their natural sugars are way healthier). Also when you feel the urge to snack drink water, it also decreases the urge to snack and has totally no calories. And don't take milk chocolat but pure, don't drink lemonade but self made smoorhies or water, don't snack chips but crackers etc. I hope this helped. =^)

Hey, @Everyone, can I still drink ice coffee? I love it. 8D Or I could start drinking HOT coffee in the morning, because it curbs my apetite and too much hot coffee makes me sick to my stomach.

@dreamer It's just a natural habit of some girls.
Some girls obsess over: Hair, Looks, Food, Trends, Boys.

Me? All of the above.

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH EATING SO MUCH. D';
NOTHING. NADA.

#CheapDate <- Overly obsessed problems with me. D';

@Tresh Me all of the above too. Except looks and trends.

I overly obsess over boys. Particular boys who share the same exact age and same exact birthday as you.
And I love my hair.
As for food... Well I think you get it. ._.

In class, we're doing a project where we have to change a certain behavior we don't like...
Mah teacher says that it's sort of like an addiction to eating. You're not hungry, you just want to eat. And you give in to the addiction.

She says try wearing a rubberband around your wrist and each time you think of eating & if it's not the time to eat that stuff, snap it against your wrist. Either that or do pushups. You'd get tired of it and stop. :I

So yeah. Could give this a try. ^^"
