I JUST GOT A 61 ON A SCIENCE TEST! IM SAD BUT IS NERVOUS ON HOW IM GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS TO MY PARENTS! ☹️ I LITERALLY FEEL THAT MY HEART IS GOING TO JUMP OUT OF MY THROAT! ANY IDEAS?

MY TEACHER FOR A HISTORY SAID THAT MAYBE OUR SCIENCE TEACHER WILL LET US RETAKE IT SINCE 1/2 THE CLASS FAILED.....BUT HOW AM I GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS? ☹️

Um, well, what'd you fail on?
Like you messed up on _questions or forgot something or what?
Also, what was the subject? I mean, like, the subcategory of science.

@brendensteel Don't worry about it.
We don't always do well. The upside? You still get to retake it. Just study more this time around, if you can.
Just tell them that you didn't do well on your science test, but tell them not to worry because you're going to retake it anyways- and plus 1/2 the class failed, so it must've been hard. <:

Okay, so say that you made a few mistakes and a lot of people failed. I'd say that when they ask and try to avoid the subject.

It's okay. I've gotten a worse grade like that before. Just calmy say it to your parents and promise them that you'll study extra hard so that you can ace the retake. 😊

im soo scared 2 tell them....my sister just got yelled at by my mom so she might blow up at me...T.T (i dont know wat 2 do...) ☹️

What grade are you in?? o.O

You should tell them to ask the teachers, since 1/2+ of the class failed.

Or say it was a [2 grades higher than now] pretest.

Wait for your parents to *cool down* before you show them the test so they wont be all mad when they see it. Pretend to fall asleep on the couch or something so they will let you sleep and they can *cool down*.😸 always works for me 😉

@brendensteel Dont feel too bad. I got a D+ on one of my finals, luckily I passed the class.
Tell them you didnt get a very good grade BUT you have the possibility/option of retaking it. That way your grade should go up.
