So here's the problem. I want to put up my creature ideas on a website after they're put on my dad's computer. The problem is that, after reading the Terms of Service for TinyPic, we learned that anyone can copy/use an idea put there. Got that. But the big killer is, when we were about to upload the photo, my dad realized the the address thingy had his name in in. Just random stuff, and then it had his name, and Desktop in it. So now he's worried that when we upload the photo, somebody can trace the photo to us, and hack his computer.
Also, another question we had is, "Where does the photo go after it's been downloaded? Does the site take us to it? Or how else do we find it?"
We don't want to create an account either. We just want to download some photos and be done with it. You can do that with TinyPic.
So what I'm asking here is, do you know any other sites that you can download photos onto? Can someone hack us if we download onto TinyPic? How do we find the picture if TinyPic doesn't take us right to it? And we still don't want to create an account. Help?

You can use DeviantArt. ._. It's free and safe and you can allow one to download or not download your picture. ^^

@choocalate

DeviantART would be better, I believe. TinyPic is for fun, I think, more like sharing photos. Not original work.

Excerpt from Submission policy on DA (I recommend reading it all, including the Terms and Conditions):

" Ownership. Artist at all times retains all right, title and interest in and to the Artist Materials provided by Artist hereunder (including, without limitation, the copyrights in and to the Artist Materials), subject to the non-exclusive rights in the licenses granted to deviantART under this Agreement."

Really? Thanks for the suggestion! After I get a few more posts (if I do at all) I'll tell my dad, and we'll see what we can do.😊

@zumi

Thanks for the advice.😊 I 'll see if I can get my photos on there!

Well, technically one could illegally download the image by pressing right-click -> Save as. But they would be terminated from the DA server if this was found out, as it is against DA rules to use the art without permission/in use not according to artist's wishes.

@zumi ^^ i know. But you can add a watermark.making it hard for one to even try to save it

@belilalas_25

That is true. That is what I like about DA as well, it gives you the feature to add watermarks to your art~

@zumi 😸 i use it when i draw something... But 90 percent of my drawings are in the trash. .X.

@zumi

Watermarks? I've never been to DeviantART before. XD

Deleted • 6 March 2012 at 4:36 PM

@choocalate it's like a printing of your username onto the art so people can't steal your art.
