The Vocaloid Troop is like a group or club here on eggcave, where fans of Vocaloid make a side account named after one of the Vocaloid characters and pretend to be them. It's pretty fun, if you're a fan. X3

Vocaloid is not an anime or manga.

Although it's mostly popular in Japan, it's a Voice Synthesizer Software that regular people can purchase. There are a variety of voice banks available, and the major companies that have created these voice banks give them "characters". They give the said voice banks an appearance, and perhaps a personality. Ordinary people buy these voices to program them to sing songs. And stuff.

A vocaloid is a voice synthesizer by yamaha.
It takes a real voice and computerizes it.
That voice then becomes a "vocaloid"

There are many vocaloids as well as many different kinds of "loids"
