Middle School Prom???

Well, the title says it. My school is having prom!! It's for a field trip for the fifth. Yes the FIFTH GRADE, it was an over crowding problem so, adding a wing was the cheapest opption. And yes I'm in the fifth grade but that's not the point.

See, ever one thinks that I should ask my best friend that's a guy or he should ask me. Help!!

@seaangel - You should ask him, maybe wait for a day and drop some easy hints but if he doesn't, you should ask him 😃

How cool! I agree with @fluffy, drop a few hints. Ask if he's going. It doesn't really matter who aska who, just have fun. I'm in highschool, but I no so great with guys/dances....but my advice comes from my heart. Have fun!! 😊

Well, here's the thing it's obvious he likes, but he's to afraid to ask me. Plus my dad really likes this guy, he said that he would pay for both of us...I'm just afraid of what I'm going to say if he asked me. I mean I really like him and it's like my dream.

@seaangel well as they said drop hints then if he stays oblivious ask him. Cause as I said last nigh some can be very thick-headed sometimes 😊 no offense to any boys

It's funny how no guys give advice. Tell him you like him, he won't ask you if he doesn't know for sure that you like him. Yep, this is coming from a guy, so just tell him you like him. The worst that can happen is he says no.

Fifth grade is MS?...Not the point. I think you should wait to see if he asks you, but if he doesn't (sometimes guys can be clue-less about that stuff), you should totally ask him. 😊

@Seaangel Middle school starts in fifth grade? Weird. It starts in 6th grade here.

Anyways...

I highly doubt it's a prom. I bet it's just a normal middle school dance. I've had three so far, out of the 10 I'll have in middle school *three more next year, and 4 in eighth grade*. I'd say just ask. I never asked a boy I like. I waited too long, and he danced with another girl. I was blaming myself most for how I reacted. So make sure to ask him at some point, but don't wait TOO long!

It's prom like and everybody is calling it that. I don't care but, yesterday a "friend" told him that I really like him. Now he won't even talk to me!!

Oh yeah, it was a budget thing. We had and way too many student four the elementary schools, so they went with the cheaper option. Build another wing to the middle school!
