@asi

Surprisingly, most things doctors have to deal with don't bother me so much, haha. I used to be uneasy about blood, but now it doesn't really matter to me. I still feel funny about veins, though. Still, the whole circulatory system fascinates me, as does the rest of the human body.

But teeth and gums...noooo. ;----;

I have no idea...., I've never gotten teeth pulled out! I brush my teeth day and night, and they are always straight and white! (I'm so scared of getting teeth pulled out) But, I'm pretty sure they give anesthesia, but they give it in the form of a shot (injection) so it hurts! (I Think) and I love braces, I'm tring to get my teeth crooked just to get braces! It doesn't work though!☚ī¸

Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 9:56 PM

@Lavender I had to get three teeth pulled before I got braces. And I had to stay awake. But, they numbed it.

@belilalas_25

I still have braces at the moment. I'm getting them off June 15th 😃 I used to ask the same question to EVERY person I met who had braces. They always said no, that they didn't hurt. I'm not going to lie to you they DO hurt. But it's not that bad of a pain. It's just like pressure on your teeth that's all. The only bad part is how it affects your gums. It starts to make your gums sore which is what causes most of the pain. The first day I got mine it didn't hurt at all at first but if you start to mess around with your gums it starts to hurt. I couldn't eat because slight pressure on your gums causes more pain. So you gotta live with soup and soft food for a week 😊 Don't worry. The pain and soreness is SO worth it for straight teeth. You'll be fine! 😊

@metaphor I can't think about veins. D'; They scare me.

I clench my fist and stare at the side-where-you-can-see-veins-pop-out-sometimes, and I can't look at it for more than 3 seconds. .____."

Braces are one of my many reasons for disliking teeth. Followed by wisdom teeth. Tasting blood for almost two weeks after an extraction WITH EVERYTHING YOU EAT OR DRINK is nasty.

Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 10:14 PM

@Crescentfeather You don't believe me? :'(

They so are.
It makes whales jealous.

@Lavender Lol. Why crooked? If they get straight, then you won't NEED braces.

I hate teeth, any form of doctors, and especially surgery. >.<

I hate my teeth too. They're a little yellow. I've never had anything pulled, never had braces. But what annoys me is that I've grown a new set of molars and I still have a gap in between my front teeth that makes me look like an idiot.

Hmm... My canines are pretty sharp though, I got sealents when I was 9 *no biggy*, I was early to lose and to grow my teeth. Because when am I not? XD

My closest experience I remember was in kindergarten, one of my teeth was extremely loose and my dad had to pull it out of my mouth. But that's different.

I lost my first tooth in preschool, I think. I remember sitting on the couch, and then I just pulled the tooth right out. I ran up to my dad, who was sitting on a computer chair, and handed him my tooth and he was cradling it like a baby. A tiny pearl in his large hands, gazing down at the tooth.
I put it under my pillow and got a crystal in the shape of a heart, which I had been admiring in a gem shop about a week before. I recently found it again and I use it as a good luck charm. 😊 It's purple in the shape of a heart, like I said.

@Lavender I hate them! D:

Too bad! I STILL like braces! No one can ever change my mind!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My dad says Im the most stubbornest person he ever knows/met. And I agree~Anyone can try to make me stop trying to make my teeth crooked and they'll fail! Actually no, the only person who can change my mind in anything ever is : POMEGRANATE!!❤ī¸
Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 10:35 PM
@Lavender Haha. xD I beg to differ. I know someone pretty special. And stubborn. I grind my teeth a lot. I used to, actually.
@Lavender I've never needed doctors whatsoever. xD Maybe except for when I was born.
And when I had strep throat.
And head lice.
But you get my point.
There are some little things I've never had, such as:
Never had a cavity or had teeth pulled
Never been stung by a bee
And what surprises people most is that I NEVER, in my whole life, have ever had a bloody nose. Whereas some people I know get bloody noses all the time.
.~. I'm different. I knew it.
