Athemyst gently picked them up and put them on the other side of the cave. 'rule number one,' she said softly. ' never attack your pod mates.' she grinned. Even though they were young they needed to learn.

The two woke up. Blossom jumped on Athemyst already slightly bigger then yesterday.

Athemyst grinned and gently shoved blossom off. 'hey, we can train later. And I can see you're growing already!' she smiled. 'now I'm gonna go hunt for breakfast. You two can come with me and see how great the shadowpod is.' she announced.

Giant got in front of Blossom and Blossom showed him who was boss. Blossom trotted behind Athemyst. She held her head high like a leader would do.

Blossom felt like flapping her wings a bit and before she knew it she was above the ground and followed by a flying Giant.

She then looked up to see the hatchlings flying. They learned fast. They would be good shadow warriors. She flew up after them. 'there are no birds underground.' she explained. She flew over to a tree. 'these are trees. You can find herbs and meat in them.'

Blossom saw something move she slowly but surely went over and spotted a squirrel. She went for it and after a while had a the rodent in her mouth.

Ruby flew fast and high.She targeted a large badger.She swooped down fast and grasped the helpless creature.She then flew down and dropped it.

Athemyst flew over to Blossom and praised her work. She then ventured further down the tree. 'jackpot' she whispered. She quickly slashed her claw into the little hole in the tree. It returned with 4 squirrels. 'squirrel nest! She shouted.

Squirrels are her favourite XD

Giant just small enough to fit in a hole got a squirrel the easy way. He came out as happy as can be.

Blossom titled her head. "A gweat leadew" she said acting like the shadow pod leader.

Giant looked puzzled for a moment. "umm, fighter." He said play fighting his sis.
