How do you get a little girl to warm up to you? xD

I've been just ignoring my bf's sister, because, well, like every sibling would, she hates me.

But, I'm determined.

THAT LITTLE GIRL IS GOING TO LIKE ME.

I don't care if I have to drill a horn on a pony's freakin' forehead. OWO

I was an awkward little girl, so I dunno what she'd like.

Considering the only barbie I had had no head and was named 'the breakfast eater' xD

Any advice? c:

Oh dear. XD

I've managed to befriend younger children (under twelve) pretty easily simply by being friendly and treating them like equals.
They enjoy when you listen to and (at least seem to) understand them.
If they want to do something, either do it or compromise something with them!
Engaging in a conversation, even about the strangest topics (like the life and preferences of a doll) seems to make children happy.

I can't vouch for this working with every child out there, but it's been pretty successful for me.
And I'm a big, scary seventeen year old, haha. X3
(I've actually had children go back to their parents and ask if it's alright to talk to a teenager. Even my own cousins. So cute~)

But it really depends on the kid's personality, and age - you've just got to get to know them on an equal level.
As a child, I always appreciated that, I remember.
And it seems the kids I talk to appreciate it, too.

Okay, done rambling; hopefully that was at least a little helpful. ^^;

@dawnie I've baby sat for alot of kids that age, and they all seem to like me. It's just important to be kind to her. It's not something that will happen over night, but kindness and interest will do it with time 😊 And if they don't, well then she's truly evil.

@dawnie Try to take some time to play a game with her or something, and find out what stuff she likes, this way, let's say she liked My Little Pony, you could possibly pick up a cheap My Little pony toy at a Walmart or something and give it to your bf and tell them to give it to her saying that you saw one and thought of her, I know I'd be happy if that someone did that. x3

Just make sure you don't go up to her and be like, "Aww, you're so cute today!!" And say stuff like how cute she is. 😉 Because when I was littler, I used to HATE it when people talked to me like that. Treat her like an equal. XD

@dawnie I'm 5 feet but compared to people in my school I am the 3rd shortest kid in my class. D: There's a dude who is 6 foot 2!!! I doubt you'll be that short forever though, you could still go through a growth spurt 😉

most lil girls are ,haha, i was O-o but u got to make them smile and laugh call them cute you can pick them up and be friendly treat them lik your own little sister but *A LOT NICER* ask her if u could play with her hair.Draw pictures with her or dance randomly with her call her a princess *what ever her name is* look up youtube videos of how to treat little girls 😊 even though u never were ,but if u are SERIOUS !O_O about her liking u U MUST BE GIRLY WITH HER XD

My cousin is 16 and he's 6'5". It's so funny because he can pick up my huge dog. Like, no one can, and he just came to my house and goes "Oh hi Wilson!!" And just picked him up. XDDD We went to the pool once and he literally threw me in. I went flying!! 😊

lol. I think you made a topic about her here before as well. Not sure.

Anyway yeah. Children can be difficult at times. But the best thing is to take it slowly, and start to interact with them with their likes and dislikes. You could find this out from her family and take it from there. Maybe if you find something she really likes and can get it for her maybe you could give it to her as a gift. etc
