i'm danny, and i recently got into a couple of these egg sites! they are definitely addictive. 😊 i hope to get the hang of things soon.

What about trading doesn't make sense to you? The process here is fairly simple. If you want to trade a creature, you can either put it in the trading center (http://eggcave.com/trades/create) or create a topic in the trading forums. People can then offer, and you can negotiate something.

Trading values might take a while to get used to. If you want to know how rare a creature is, asking an experienced user is your best bet. A quick but slightly less reliable method is to check the Weighted Rarity of the creature in the archives. The lower the Weighted Rarity, the rarer the creature is . . . with some exceptions. The demand for a certain creature can change its rarity. ^^;

To get started, I would suggest keeping your cove small. A really big cove is not fun to feed, and others prefer feeding small coves as well. There are no limited edition (LE) creatures out right now, but once one does come out, try to get as many as possible so you can start trading. All the creatures you have right now can be obtained by any user at any time, so they won't trade for anything. If you happen to spot a Mo (http://eggcave.com/archives/view/21), be sure and take it. They are cave eggs, but they are very rare. Also, be sure to visit the Mysterious Asteroid every day (http://eggcave.com/explore/asteroid). You have a very small chance of getting a very rare creature.
