Eggs dying and immortals?

Im not sure if im allowed to post two questions in one.. but im about to head to work and would really like these answered :/

When i first joined, i forgot my account for a few days. when i came back i had notifications for two or three dead eggs but they are still in my cove and still feedable.. what happened?

And about immortals, how do i go about making a creature immortal? i have two in their last stages and im curious how to make them immortal.. is it based on feeding, views, clicks? or is it something else?

Dunno about the first question

Level 2000 is immortal and can't/ won't die.

So if they get above 2000 they are immortal and dont need feeding?

The situation in the first question is unusual...

But if you get a creature to level 2000, you don't need to feed it at all, because it won't die ^^ You can level a creature if you click/feed/view it 😊
