You aren't really harassing them. You are asking a very simple question. Or talk to them in person. And you do have a right to know why

Perhaps it was a misunderstanding of some sort. If you can, try explaining to her what happened and asking her why she did that. If she blocked you, unfortunately there's nothing you can really do about it. Hopefully you guys will be able to work something out, though.

However, if it's true that she was planning to break her promise, perhaps she isn't a real friend. You may want to talk with her about it (if you can; it seems that you're unable to contact her) and explain that you were upset by this. If this isn't possible, just give it time; hopefully things will clear up between the two of you and you can continue being friends.

Additionally, I wouldn't advise PMing people who the user is. Ian has stated that you are not allowed to create a forum topic about a user that has blocked you is against the rules, so I'm not entirely sure this is allowed even if you avoid saying who it is. Nevertheless, you should be fine, just make sure to steer away from creating drama. 😉
