( @Lawliet the kid from L: Change the WorLd? Yes, I do like our pale, fair-haired Near much better, but then again a lot in that movie is different than the anime/manga. For example, L has huge, childish eyes and white as sin skin. But in the movie he is Asian and looks accordingly, even though it's stated he's only 25% Japanese. So during the book, I just try to picture their characters as they should be [how the anime/manga portrays them])
