"Well..." Jaybird dug his claws into the ground, sliding them over the dirt. "I have... A lot of knowledge... I know... Well, I know everything. Everything about the history of the Clans. Every single event. And... I can tell what will happen in the future." Jaybird looked at Wildheart to see her reaction, preparing to flinch.

Wildheart stared in astonishment. "That's so cool! But wait. If the future hasn't happened yet, doesn't that mean there are lots of different possibilities? Because what if you see that ThunderClan and ShadowClan will have a battle that ThunderClan started, and that ThunderClan will lose, and then you tell us, and we don't start the battle? Couldn't that happen?"

I mean, if everything I do is meant to happen, then why don't I just lie around doing nothing all day? It's what I was fated to do, so there's nothing wrong with doing it."

"It's hard to talk about," Jaybird admitted. "And I mean physically as well as emotionally. It just... I don't like to think about killing cats, or dying myself. I would, of course, stay with ThunderClan, because, well, it is my birth Clan, and I would never disobey our leader."

That would mean I wouldn't remember the dreams, or the training, or being told how to change back and forth. Wouldn't that make big impacts on my life now? I would remember being a Twoleg, then I would remember being a cat, with nothing in between, and I wouldn't remember any of my training, and I wouldn't remember how to switch..."
