@pipkitten, anime conventions? I've always wanted to go to one!And I went trick or treating last year. I think that is my last year though, and I'll have to settle to going out with friends or something, lol!
pipkitten • 26 March 2012 at 11:54 PM
@April__Yep! ^^ They're tons of fun~ Last year I cosplayed as Riku from the Kingdom Hearts games. I had a bunch of fangirls following me around and one guy even offered to buy my Keyblade off me for any amount of money. xD After the con, I went to the mall (still in costume, of course~) and got thanked for existing by some kid at GameStop. đI hope it was fun! đ I'm hoping to be able to hang with my buddies on Halloween this year. 'Cause handing out candy is boooring!

@pipkitten, that is awesome! I really must somehow go sometime! No idea who I'd go as, though. @pebblestar-nightclan, wow I thought you were older!

pebblestar-nightclan • 27 March 2012 at 12:10 AM
@chloekinsO.O That's messed up.
pipkitten • 27 March 2012 at 12:14 AM
@April__If you get the chance, you definitely should go! đ And for picking who to go as, just pick one of your favorite characters from a comic book/game/show~ đ That's how I decided on mine! xD

@pebblestar-nightclanReally messed up O.e
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:22 AM
@pipkitten, my favourite character is a guy. I tend to hate most female anime characters. I have nothing against girls that dress up as guys. I just couldn't pull it off. XD
blackrose_chan • 27 March 2012 at 12:22 AM
@april__ actually I don't mind :/ being a kid you have SO many limits. sure adulthood is stressful but there are SO MANY things you can do as an adult.
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:25 AM
@blackrose_chan, to be honest, at this point, I'd rather have limits. Then again, my start into adulthood was probably more stressful than most, due to events going on at the time, but still. I hate it. XD And I never had a curfew or anything as a 'kid' so I guess I was lucky. I could do anything as long as I was honest with my parents.
pipkitten • 27 March 2012 at 12:26 AM
@April__Lol, I tend to hate most female characters as well. đ And all of my favorite characters are guys, so (through a bit of trial and error) I've learned how to pull off a successful male cosplay. ^^ I often get some wonky looks when I walk into the womens' restroom at most places. xD
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:32 AM
@pipkitten, lol! That sounds entertaining.
pipkitten • 27 March 2012 at 12:35 AM
@April__Haha, it totally is~...especially when all I do in response to their looks is smile and wave.For some reason, that really gets 'em. XD

silver_winged • 27 March 2012 at 12:37 AM
@pipkitten @april__Anime conventions are a lot of fun! I decided to cosplay this year, and it was fun (if not a little intimidating). I went as a female Team Rocket grunt, with the black uniform. Everyone and their mother seemed to want a picture. X3 I hate to say it, but a part of me likes the attention~.
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:40 AM
@pipkitten, Lol. I may have to try it for giggles@pendulum, YAY! Definitely not as alone as I thought! @silver_winged, they sound like fun. I should try and keep track of when they come.
pipkitten • 27 March 2012 at 12:46 AM
@Silver_WingedAwesomeness! đ I'd love to see your cosplay, if you happen to have a picture~ ^^I'm normally pretty antisocial at big gatherings, but conventions toss that out the window. XD I adore the attention. And the fangirls and fanboys are always entertaining. xD@April__You totally should. xD
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:48 AM
@pipkitten I would totally do it, if I had friends to do it with. I'm too shy to even think about planning a costume or attending alone. None of my friends like anime. đą
silver_winged • 27 March 2012 at 12:51 AM
@pipkittenI realized only after I'd gotten home and taken it off that I hadn't taken a picture. X3 There had to have been fifty pictures taken of me over the day, and I couldn't think to get one for myself. Because I'm an idiot.Fangirls and fanboys are too funny. This one girl ran up, hugged me, and then ran away. She didn't say a single word. It was a slightly uncomfortable moment. XD Also, I love the little kids. This family saw me when I was walking back to my car, and the boy's face lit up. His dad said, "Look! It's Team Rocket! Oh no!" It was precious.
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 12:56 AM
@silver_winged, that sounds so sweet! Lol, awe. đ

@April__Awh, that sucks. D: Do any of your friends like sci-fi or comics? It's not just strictly anime~@Silver_WingedLol! xD Don't worry, I'm an idiot, too. It never occurred to me to get a picture of myself until the year before last. đPeople like that always make me laugh. xD Last year, I had this one girl who followed me absolutely everywhere, making a little heart shape with her hands every time I looked at her... She kinda creeped me out, so I was glad to be in the company of Link. đAww, little kids are so awesome. ^^ They're always so enthusiastic about everything.
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 1:03 AM
@pipkitten, none that live by me unfortunately! âšī¸
silver_winged • 27 March 2012 at 1:08 AM
@april__ It was really sweet. ^^; Little kids' reactions to cartoon villains are adorable.@pipkittenI'll have to remember for next time. (I still can't believe I forgot! XD)Creepy. Obsessive fans are scary. But I'm jealous that you had a Link to protect you. X3 I actually got asked by one guy where my partner was. When I acted confused, he reminded me that Team Rocket always operates in pairs, with one girl and one guy. Forever. Alone.I also shared a very tense moment with a guy cosplaying Ash Ketchum. XD
april__ • 27 March 2012 at 1:11 AM
@silver_winged, that's awesome though I'm not a fan of Pokemon. Only the original 150 for me.Ooh, I was majorly into Digimon, *plots*, no, didn't like many of the girls there either. In Inuyasha, I didn't mind Sango and Kikyo, but not fans of them...Wolf's Rain... Meh, not a fan of Blue...And same goes for my other animes. *le sigh*
stellalunagirl • 27 March 2012 at 1:16 AM
@april__Turned 15 on the 15th of march xDSame day Caesar died. o.O Kinda suprised at the ages of some people here xD
silver_winged • 27 March 2012 at 1:17 AM
@april__ I'm a big Pokemon fan. ^^; I have been since I was three or four. Admittedly, I'm more into video games than I am into anime; the cosplay I picked was from the games. http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/4/4a/FireRed_LeafGreen_Team_Rocket_grunts.pngI didn't bother coloring my hair, and I substituted my brown boots for the grey ones, but everything else about it was spot-on. ^^ I even added some cute Pokeball earrings. The best part about playing a generic character is that you can tinker with it a little and still be authentic.My two favorite animes are Cowboy Bebop and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but all the girls in them wear next to nothing. I have standards.
pipkitten • 27 March 2012 at 1:20 AM
@April__D8 Bummer!I'd totally go with you if you lived near me~@Silver_Winged*scribbles reminder on a sticky note and sticks it to your forehead* XDAye, obsessive fans be creepers... O_o Haha, I have a feeling my Link wouldn't do much to save me, should I get nabbed by a horde of rabid fangirls... xDForever alone... So sad! D: Maybe your partner was killed by an angry swarm of ill-used Zubats?Oh dear, Team Rocket meets Ash Ketchum at a con... CUE EPIC POKEMON BATTLE!! đ
