The Hunted

PLOT: It's the year 2208 and wolves are extinct. Or so humans think. They don't know is that there are still some wolves alive, even living among them. The wolves have learned to create an illusion to appear human. Though, they are not actually human. They can not pick things up with their 'hands,' nor interact.


You are a part of one of the last packs left on the Earth. And each day is a struggle to survive.



CHARACTERS:
Each character has the illusion to appear human.

Each character can have one additional ability of choice. This power MUST have a weakness. (EG: A wolf has the power to take away any sense they please from an enemy, but in doing so, make the other senses stronger.)

The only wolves that can have more than one extra ability are the alphas whom can have two, and the Healer who has the ability to heal and one other ability.

MY CHARACTER:

Name: Kira (Alpha Female)

Gender: Female

Wolf appearance: Grey and White, Pale yellow eyes.

Human Appearance: 5'4, red hair, green eyes. Long, wavy hair.

Power(s): Kira can make herself appear invisible, but this is just another illusion. She can still be heard.
Her senses are more powerful than other wolves. She can smell, hear and see things the other can't at times. However, that much going on in her head often leaves her with headaches.

Personality: Kira appears on the outside to be a powerful wolf. But in reality, she's scared of the future and it gets hard for her to act like she thinks they'll all be okay. She's stubborn and her temper is easily tested. She's not trusting, except of a select few and isn't gentle about telling others what she thinks. She's brutally honest, and sometimes, her words come out harsh and feelings get hurt.

On a more positive note, she cares too much about the rest of her pack and would willingly die for any of them. Even those that test her patience.

Name: MoonKind

Gender: Female

Wolf & Human appearance: Coal black fur with brown eyes. They tip of the tail is a cream color. She looks about ten and has coal black hair with cream colored streaks in it. She has brown eyes

Power: She can mind read. When she does, though, she passes out. Sometimes for a couple of minutes, others for days. Usually that doesn't happen unless she gets carried away with the mind reading.

Personality: Develops

Other: She is a smaller than other pups. (Shes 2 months!)

Gender: Male
Wolf & Human appearance☹️Wolf) White with some black tinges, like his tail, paws and down is back are black.Green Eyes (Human) Black, Shaggy hair and one red streak. Bright Green eyes.
Power: He can create fire, but only when he is calm and concentrating. Otherwies the fire just seems to fizzle. He is working on mastering his powers.
Personality:Jumpy and hyper. He really just can't sit still. That is what makes using his powers so difficult. He is annoying to most of the adults.
Other? He is an orphan. He has no memories of his mum or dad.

Name: DeathHunt (Alpha Male??)

Gender: Male

Wolf & Human appearance: He musclular, and bigger then most wolves. He's fur is a rich brown and he has coal black eyes. Human form he's tall and buff, he has brown hair and black eyes.

Power: He has super strength and x-ray vision. He cannot always control his strength and it ends up terrible. His x-ray vision causes him to make his vision blurry after use.

Personality: He's loves pups, and seems like the perfect wolf. Inside he wants to escape, and be free. He hates it when wolves get hurt because of him.

Kira raced through the trees, her fur blowing in the wind. Her soft pads hit the rough ground but this didn't bother her. She was used to the lack of grass. It had been years since there had been any.

She growled in annoyance as she recalled her day. Clutched in her jaws was a loaf of bread. A loaf of bread she'd stolen while trying to be human.

It didn't take long to reach the den before she dropped the bread down on the ground. Her pale yellow eyes took in the scene. The trees, creating the illusion to reach up to the sky, left the den well hidden. Which was great for the pack. If humans found out the wolves weren't extinct as they thought...

"Bread. We're wolves and this is what we have to fight to get. This is what we struggle to get. A pathetic loaf of bread that tastes like dirt," she complained. Though her tone was angry, the sorrow in her voice was there. The times were rough. And all they had to blame were the humans.

DeathHunt went to comfort Kira. He licked her nose and smiled. "Kira, you did your best. I'm going to the humans place." He says smiling he was good at stealing the meat in the butcher shop.


Little MoonKind looked at the loaf and smiled. She didn't care if it was all they had. She liked getting the food it was better then when she was alone.

DeathHunt smiled as he watched MoonKind investigate the bread. He then looked at Kira and whispered, "Besides it's good enough for the pups. We need to find MoonKind a family like we promised."

Daisuke's eyes shot open. He stretched and yawned, then turned around looking for the fellow pup left in the pack."Hey. Where'd you go?"Daisuke padded around the den.

MoonKind turned her head to see the other pup, "I went to look at the bread." She trotted to the other pup and yipped playfully. Her head was down and her butt up in the air. She leaped and jumped on the other pup. She pinned him and smiled, the tip of her tail wagging like crazy.

Kira growled under her breath. This was frustrating.

"I think we should consider moving," she said carefully, trying to keep the fear for their lives out of her voice for the sake of the pups.

"They're starting to recognize my human form and there's a dog in the town that follows me around. I think she knows what I am."

Kira began to pace anxiously, her tail swishing side to side as she tried to calm her nerves. The pups were the future and she was worried that if they weren't careful none of them would have a future.

Their trees were dying. There were so few forests left and she knew the humans would be coming towards their forest eventually. It didn't help that she'd almost been caught today either.

"Kira," He sighed, "I know we need to and I know the place to go. Remember when I went on that trip last summer?"

DeathHunt smiled remembering where he went. He was a forest that was untouched and had a wonderful waterfall. He rubbed against Kira and knew that it would be a perfect place to raise pups.

Daisuke laughed, before squeezing through an opening. Pawing at the air, trying to hop on his two back legs. Making a pretty bad immitation of a human. Before falling down flat on his face. Paws spread out.

Kira growled under her breath. She hated it when DeathHunt treated her worries like nothing. It wasn't that easy. It never was. Every day was a struggle just to survive.

"Once the pups are old enough to make the journey, we need to go."

She knew it'd taken them weeks, maybe even months to get to where they needed to go. It'd be hard, but it was doable. But who knew what else they'd run into?

They've have to be careful. Very careful. They'd take the trip slow, and spread it out. They may meet other wolves. But at the rate things were going, she wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing.

DeathHunt sighed, "I need to talk to you, alone Kira." He pulled her out of the den and was not smiling. He knew that if they didn't leave now they would never be able to leave.

MoonKind laughed at the other pup. She helped him up and then tackled him again making sure there was no space to escape.

Kira followed behind anxiously, trying to keep the fluttering in her stomach to a minimum.

She was an alpha in the pack, and she was not acting like it.

Once they were outside, she sat down, her tail twitching anxiously.

"What's going on?" she demanded at once, not waiting a second longer. She needed to know what was going on. "It's a long journey, we both know that. It'll take us weeks to get there."


OOC: I want the journey to be long to have a nice starting point in our roleplay. 😊

"I know and we need to leave now." He said a little commanding. "I was in the butchers the other day trying to get us food when I heard they were going to tear down the the rest of the forest."

"We have exactly three days to get out of this forest." He looked at the pups, "I don't want any of the pups getting hurt or found."

MoonKind stopped playing and spied on them. She read DeathHunt's mine and looked terrified. She went to the other pup and told him that they have to move or die. She slowly fainted after that.

This didn't help her nerves. Not at all. Kira bared her teeth, at nothing in particular as she jumped up to her stand on her four legs.

"This is ridiculous," she hissed, "have they not ruined everything already? Humans are the most selfish creatures to live on this planet! It should be them who suffered the losses our species did."

Kira's eyes flashed in anger as she turned to walk back into the cave. "We'll need to get lots of rest tonight, and leave later tomorrow. We need to be prepared, and we need to try to hide any evidence we were ever here. If they realized this den is for wolves... They'll come after us."

DeathHunt shook his head in agreement. He placed the pups together and then curled up around Kira.

"Kira, I know how you feel," he sighed, "tomorrow I'll go get some meat before the trip." He wanted to go now knowing that the humans might change there minds.

MoonKind woke up and trotted next to DeathHunt she slowly curled up with him and Kira for warmth and reassurance.
