Event Idea - Music/Poetry contest!

So it's been a while since there were any contests or major events or anything like that ... I've quit several times due to this. So, before I quit for the fifth time, I'd like to throw in my event idea:

Music/Poetry contest!

Now, what would happen is one of two things:

1. There would be two sections, Poetry and Songwriting.?
Six unique creatures, three for both sections, would be designed.?
There would be 25 first-place winners, 75 second-place winners, and 150 third-place winners for each.?
The first place winners would get the first-place creature plus 250 CC and 250,000 EC.
The second place winners would get the second-place creature plus 100 CC and 100,000 EC.
The third place winners would get the third-place creature plus 50,000 EC.


OR:


2. There would be several sections of poetry, stuff like humor/parody, sad stuff, haiku, etc.
There would be around six sections, a single creature for each. The reward system would be:
Creature+250CC and 250,000 EC for first place
Creature+100CC and 100,000 EC for second place
Creature+75,000 EC for third place
Creature+40,000 EC for fourth place
Creature+25,000 EC for fifth place

5 first-place winners
10 second-place winners
25 third-place winners
50 fourth-place winners
100 fifth-place winners

For both ideas, there would be the creatures available in the CSP for two days before retiring forever.

I personally like the second idea. (: It's simpler~
And I'm thinking that if the special creatures weren't available via CSP, and could only be obtained through the contest, that it would make the whole thing...more serious fun?

I liked the second one better too. 😃 But I don't think there should be just one winner for each, maybe something like:
For each,
5 first-place winners
10 second-place winners
25 third-place winners
50 fourth-place winners
100 fifth-place winners

Just so they're not TOO unobtainable. xD
