Aizel ducked low, almost disappearing under the desk. She hoped she wasn't seen. She looked a few feet away and saw that Vex was doing the same thing.
She chuckled.
"Hey! Vex!" she called him in a whisper "What are you hiding for?" she whispered.

Arisa silently sat at the back of the class, silently watching the teacher and the unfortunate boy that she was staring at. The hawk woman sure was scary. Arisa frowned as she saw another girl hiding under her desk. Well, at least she wasn't the only person afraid of Groggle.

"Hi!" she whispered to her and smiled.

Mrs. Groggle glared at the boy again, squinting her poisonous green eyes. Her screech filled the room.
"Where were you yesterday young man?" she shouted gruffly to him.
