Grace took out her D.A.D.A. book and flipped through spells as Alex and Sirius ate. There were a few things she already knew, like Lumos and Stupefy, and there were many she didn't know at all.

"Ready?" Grace asked the two. She shut her book and put it in her bag. She couldn't help but quiver a little with excitement. She loved flying.

"Come on!" Grace quickly walked outside. She saw a few dozen brooms lined up. They all looked so lifeless just lying there. She couldn't wait to get on one.

Grace ran a hand over a broomstick next to the one Sirius was standing behind. She knew the school brooms weren't the best. Well, everyone knew that! "When will the teacher get here?" she asked, clearly impatient.

The teacher said to begin to try and get the broom to lift by saying up.
