Newbie Gift Association (NGA)

I have an idea (that has probably been made before) for a Newbie Gift Association. I know that individual users do this sometimes, but there should be a club for it! Eggcavers in this association steal one egg from the cave or get a recent LE and immortalize and/or hatch it, then give it to users less than 2 weeks old on EC. I think that every creature that we give (1 creature per newbie) should be renamed so that its name is NGA-theirusername. (Example: NGA-Cotton). Unless their username is really long, then it could just be NGA and then a nickname for their username. (Example: NGA-Cot).

Idea-Maker (Makes new ideas to make the association better)
Job-Maker (makes new job ideas)
Hatcher (helps hatch newbie gifts)
Immortalizer (helps immortalize newbie gifts while or after they are hatched/being hatched)

@cotton I might join but I don't agree with gifting an LE or CC creature. Maybe a really recent LE that I hate and have loads of.

Wow, this sounds interesting.

[And it would give me a chance to use those names I have saved up. >__> I mean, offer them to the newbies. /cough cough/]

I might consider looking into this later, since my cove isn't entirely immortalized yet--but it's getting there. Just give me a reminder on my wall. :T Because my memory is bad. XD

I think I might be able to do this because I rarely get new creatures, so I'll have plenty of space to hatch things. ^^;

@karamel That's fine with me (: Now that I think about it, we should like secretly evaluate newbies by PM to see if we think they are responsible enough to have an LE, and if they are a really great user, maybe a CC. (: It will mostly be hatched commons anyway. What job would you like to apply for? 😊

And yes, I guess getting them to fill out a form would be better. Maybe wait a few weeks before we gift too - I've seen newbies come and quit and they have so many rares it makes me jealous to the brim >.<"

@belilalas_25 Okay! (: I have a Whoon in my cove that will be the first Newbie Gift.. It would be great if you could help put it on the Egg Cavern click exchange for feeds and make forum topics to do feedbacks if you feed the Whoon. (: I will be helping, of course, so it won't be very hard. You can be the hatcher and immortalizer for now if that's okay with you, and then when @blissy or some new members come in, they can take half of that job. (:
@karamel It is very unlikely that a newbie will get a CC, and when I say LEs, I mean like Ghostars and Praths and stuff. (: You can be vice president: you get to help me recruit new members, find more newbies to gift, and give jobs to new members; we will probably be PMing a lot because I'm currently trying to hatch and immortalize a new creature fast, which will take a lot of work. (;

@karamel Actually, that's a really good idea! Yeah, let's send applications to new users. @belilalas_25 and @blissy are fine with their jobs, though. (: I think when we are giving a gift we should use the same sentence for each one. Something like:

Hey! The Newbie Gift Association has a welcoming gift for you! Just offer any creature that you want on this lot *tradelot* or you don't have to accept the gift. Welcome to EggCave! (:

Except we need to find a way to shorten that into 1 comment. (:

And yeah, I'm not really useful in any way at all except when it comes to immortalizing and hatching and what not. XD

@cotton Eh, saw your second post.

I was thinking of PMing the applications, both to members of the NGA. However an application for newbies would be for CC, maybe LEs depending on how old. And who would PM the applications? I was also thinking that a new, obvious job would be the Gift-Producer, who gets the eggs and then gives it to the hatchers/immortalizers. Or maybe the hatchers/immortalizers can get gifts themselves >.<"

I think the Gift-Sender should PM us the response, maybe? Or we PM the G-S guidelines as to the response. Like if the newbie were to trade it, didn't want it or really hated the creature... Not the best responses to gift CC or an old LE xD

@cotton Once I've immortalized a few dying coves (which will take a while) I can start feeding single creatures and get feed-backs for the newbie gifts 😊
Maybe on the OP (original post; first post) you can put:

Obviously with the right amount of gifts we're working on. And by projects I mean the ones we're hatching and immortalizing, just so members can help 😊
