Anyone play Neopets?

I just created a Neopet account yesterday. I used to have an account but I haven't played in so long I forgot my password. So I've started from scratch. My username is "Ipheia" (without the quotes) if you guys want to add me as a friend.

I'm just wondering how you guys make tons of Neopoints quickly. I'm saving up for a Baby Paint Brush at the moment, and I remember how long it took me before to save up enough points to get one. I've been using Neopets Daily as a guide, but as of now I only have around 17,000+ Neopoints.

I'm not asking for cheats, I'm just asking for good tips. I know a Baby Paint Brush costs around 600,000NP and if I get 10,000NP a day, I can have one in two months. I'd like to see if I can get it a bit faster than that. Anyone want to help?

I play! Not as much any more, but...

Tips?

Habitarium. Once you get to level 50 you can make around 100k a day!

Keyquest. You win a couple thousand points each game AND if you place first you can win Paintbrushes, (cheap ones.) and second can get you neggs and codestones.

Easy games. Fashion Fever. Kass Basher. Sponsor games.

Play dice a roo. You generally win stuff you can sell to make more of a profit. It's not much, but you do win lots of foods and sometimes bottled faeries.

If your computer is of decent speed, Keyquest.
It can get repetitive, yes, but you'll have enough for a Baby pb within a week or less.

Complete the forgotten shore map. It's reasonably cheap, and it'll pay for itself fairly quickly.

buy the forgotten shore map pieces. I got a pirate draik egg from it once and earned like 6 million when i sold it! ^^

@april__ how does the Habitarium work? And how does the Keyquest work? Do the points become NP or are they just part of the score?

The Forgotten shore is a nice way to earn points. I got the map when it was released. I ususally get 2k per day, but sometimes I get 5k np or 10k from it, or items worth around 20k. If you're EXTREMELY-- And I mean extremely-- lucky, you can get a pirate draik egg or pirate krawk morphing potion, which can be sold for millions, as you may know.

It's nice to do your dailies, my favorite is the Fruit Machine. A few years ago I got an Electric Paint Brush from it, which I sold for around 450k.

If any giveaways, events, or plots are going on, and some of the prizes are books, hold onto them! Book prices tend to soar within a month of the event ending.

Random events are nice, if you get the right ones. I've found a faerie petpet paintbrush and several geraptiku beads from REs. Just repeatedly press the refresh button. Yous usually won't get anything good, but if you do it's well worth it.

Underwater Fishing is another way to gain points.

My wocky, elisstreak, is level 159 in fishing. When she was level 99, she fished up a Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water, which I sold for 2.25 million neopoints! There is also the very rare chance that you can fish up a paintbrush, no matter what your pet's fishing skill is. The higher the skill, the better the items you can catch.

You're probably familiar with the community on Neopets. I'd reccomend staying away from Neopet socializing, unless you're in the trading post. Users tend to be nasty 80% of the time, so try avoiding neomails, neofriends, trading boards. et catera. Tnt is cold and shameless when it comes to punishments.

Restocking your shop is nice too. Just grab random items for cheap prices if they look expensive, then put them in your shop using the shop wizrd for price ideas. I've made millions out of my shop.

Yea I play neopets! I've been a member for 10 years on and off lol.

As of how to make fast np, do the dailies EVERYDAY! and play easy games. If your internet speed is super fast, a lot of the neopians I know RS (restock) and sell what the get in their shops.

@Briseis You can bring your pets to fishing every 12 hours. Your skill goes up randomly. Maybe one day you'll be level 3. Maybe 2 days later, you'll become level 4, and on the same day you'll become level 5. Skill gaining is random, but if you have time and daily visits, it rises quickly.

@Briseis Haha, good luck! It took me like, 6 months to get a Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water. It was worth it though. 😸 Now I'm hoping for a paintbrush or an irritable-genie-in-a-bottle.

Have you ever had a lab ray? They're expensive, but I've had mine for 2 or 3 years. It's made my accounts look awesome! My current lab rat is a, ice jubjub. I'm hoping for a mutant acara at some point.
