Jane felt ropes on her,as soon as she felt that she yanked herself up and started to run

"Whoa girl," the captain said and put a rope around janes neck "Easy there." He led Jane back to camp, and put me in a stable next to Zayda.

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll live." I say to Rose I then look at Jane and smile. I'm trying to bring cheer to all the horses, but I already know most won't live.

Jane started to kick at the stable doors the best she could,but after all the running she didnt do very much,she seen a man who was kind of fat and had pliers with him,she heard the Genaral say "Your going to need to shoe the filly in the last row"And she started to hit the stable doors with her hoofs,She wasnt going to belong to man 'NEVER' she heard the voice in her head,she finaly broke the stables lock from the inside.She raced out and jumped over the wooden fence - that wasnt THAT high but still kind of was- And out into the pasture,the effects from her recent escape still hung tight.She was still partly out of breath and her mucles ached,but she wouldnt give up,she was slower now,but she fought that,she knew she would get caught,but she wasnt one to give up esialy.She pushed her body to the max limits of her power.swet poored down her back and face.but she kept on running....

I was going after her now. Saddled and bit in my mouth. The general on my back forcing me to my limits and running after the other filly. We caught her and trotted back to the stables.

Jane looked behind her and seen them gain on her,she ran even faster,pushing past her limits,her bones were throbing,but she ran,she ran faster than ever before,with one thought racing through her mind 'No human will ever own me,EVER!'.She ran,jumping over brooks and streams.she ran to her limits

The general put a harness and a saddle on Rose. When she saw scissors approaching her though, she struggled so much that the man could not get a hold of her. "You will never cut, my beautiful mane!"

I keep chasing and chasing. I'm slowly down with the pain in my own joints. I get slapped with a riding stick and I'm pushed beyond my limits. I hurt. I'm now galloping and trying not to slow to slapped. I fail to satisfy the general. I jump over the same streams, same brooks. They seem more and more difficult to get over.

Janes eyes seemed bloodshot with anger "Humans can never and will never own ME"She neighed and turned her head backwords toword Zayla "Humans have no right to own us!They will never own us!"She said and she seen a river on the horizon,it had a fast moving current,and bounded in the river,it carried her downstream,fast,she was hit by rocks,and her body grew limp.

I was pushed more until finally I fell with exhaustion. I know, they know if I don't get up I'm shot. I die quickly without mercy. I slowly get up, but I have slowly developed a limp and I'm led back to camp.

"Whatever" The man with the scissors said. "She can have her mane. Rose began to relax. Good, she thought. Then she began to wonder where all the other horses were. Did they catch Jane? Rose would be glad if she escaped. "One less horse to worry about dying." She said.

Jane woke up downstream there was a town nearby,she got up and limped into the town and a boy walked up to her,she steped back a little and he stepped back,she stepped forword....

The boy walked up to the horse and started to reach for her nose. He had caution in his eyes.

"It's okay. I don't bite." The words seem to flow off of his tongue in soothing sort of way. He started pet her soft coat, and calming her.

Joey wanted to go see the situation withOUT the captain, or any other human. He neighed and got the attention of a stable lad. "Want to go graze boy? Alright but be back quick." he let Joey out and Joey galloped to the stream he last saw her. When, he got there he saw the outline of a town on the horizon. H e started trotting over when he saw a big stream in his way, he backed up about 15 feet, and galloped toward the stream at full speed and jumped it. He used the momentum from the jump to gallop to town faster. When he was in the streets and saw Jane, with a little boy.

I'm let out to graze to and I follow Joey. I neigh trying to get him before he leaves, but it too late. I cross the stream. I follow and notice that current is too strong. I try to come out but fail. I see Joey and neigh for his help. For his attention.

Joey hears the neigh , and gallops back to the stream to help Zayda. When he gets there he sees her in the stream, He walks into the stream, and helps her get out.

The boy lies beside the horse. Slowly going to sleep.

I gasp for air and people come to my aid. One of my legs are bandaged and I hear people. "There's nothing left to do. We might as well kill her. Give her some mercy." Slowly come to the back of the stables afraid.
"No, she's a fine horse and will get through it. Besides, I want her on our path to war." I hear the general and realize I owe him. He saved my life.
