I think that it gets really annoying how if you post something to someone and say you are writing a story, well you have to wait 20 more seconds to continue. i think that we shouldn't have to wait. just an idea. I also think that there should be a thing called lets see each other where we can video chat with other people 😊 thanks 😊

I like the no-20m-wait-thing, but not a big fan of chat. in computer classes (school) they talk all about not sharing personal info, and I think they got a point 😋

For the younger users to use it there should be some safety implement. Maybe something their parents have to sign or a simple ban for a certain age.

I think the 20-sec-wait thing is to help prevent spam. (Just like @crazymushroom). But I also thing there should be a 10-sec-wait instead so people won't have to wait as long.

But video chatting could leave some people out, like me, becuase some people don't have cameras. Also, just like @liza200aa said, it could give out personal info.

I don't have a webcam anymore... Chatroulette scared the crap out of me. I'm like, no. Don't want to see some perverted guy's junk waving around. o.0

I like the idea not having to wait as long, but I do not like the idea of video chatting for a few reasons. one being i dont have a webcam and two you shouldnt share personal information with people you hardly know.

If someone can see you they can do bad things have acsess to your info, all because of computer's these days.

I'm more annoyed about the minute wait in mail. 20 seconds is reasonable, as we don't want to overload it.

Videochatting sounds like a really bad idea to me, but the 10 second thing might be nice?

I think it would be cool if Ian let us post on the forums twice in a row (or more, not sure), so people could bump their own topics or get roleplay information out without having to wait for someone to post in between.

Video chat would be horrible. I would definitly not want to do that. But... there are such things as chatboxes, maybe someone could make one for here?

I think video chat would be a lot of work on ian... If you want to video chat with people go to www.tinychat/crooton1 It was made by our fellow eggcaver; crooton1. So we can see what everyone looks like 😊 But yeah, I think this idea isn't for eggcave, it is a Massive Online Mutiplayer, not a Video chat site like skype.

I like the not having to wait to post idea..

BUT, reading some of these comments, I jumped out of the video chat idea once I saw the age-limit idea thing.

I HATE age limits. You do realize, I'm an 11-year-old girl. But I'm plenty capable for video chats and such. But I still end up under these stupid age limits, mainly because I'm 11. I think age limits don't matter. I'm definitely responsible enough for this stuff without them, and I can even prove it.


So if video chatting DOES end up a part of ec, but it DOES include age limits, then I'm completely jumping out on this idea.

If they took off the 20 second thing, every quitting user would be hounded by your begging a lot more.

And we're not even allowed to post links to chat rooms, so why would we have one on here?
