SEVERAL WEEKS LATER!

MoonKind stopped and felt pain. She howled in stressed, her stomach was huge with pups. She went into a den and gave birth to five pups. One was dead at birth. She buried it and wrote something in the dirt.

The pups were healthy, and strong. There was two females and two males. One of the females was very small, but was still strong. She had white fur and a pink nose. The second biggest was a female and looked much like her father. The two males were the biggest ones, they were a perfect combo of their mother and father.

Raigo grabbed a large rabbit from the ground, he had hunted earlier, and went over to MoonKind. He dropped the brown but juicy prey in front of her and lay down beside her. The pups squirmed around to their mother's belly.

MoonKind ate half of the prey and then her eyes lids dropped. "Raigo thank you. I think we might be here for a while. Shall we name them?" MoonKind smiled as she looked at the four pups.

MoonKind looked around and made sure everyone was hear. All of them came over to congratulate her. She got names suggestions such as Mighty, Fire, Metal, Daisy, Violet, and other names.

Raigo looked at them. He started listing ones from the top of his head.
"Beach, Rust, Hailstorm, Shaft, Ray, Sun, Willow, DarkStar..." He stopped and nudged the remaining prey at his mate. "Finish it."

MoonKind looked at the other pups and looked at two pups who were close together. One of the brutes that was close to the now looking metallic one. "I already named those two." She pointed toward the two. "Metallic, the metallic looking green one, and Frightful, the one who has your coat, but my marking." She smiled.

He looked around in the Spring wind from their temporary den.
A bad thought hid his stomach like ice. "We'll have to leave soon, you know. The pack can't stay here for too long."

"I know, we need to within two days. Give me a day of rest then we shall go." MoonKind smiled, "I think Rust will be a great name." Rust started to misbehave and get a little aggressive. MoonKind placed the pup away from the rest. "Also, for this male with the blue dash under his eye, we should call him...SummerBreeze." MoonKind brought him closer to her side then added, "Breeze for short!"

"Of course, they're great names!" He smiled gently to her and licked the pups and got up to address the rest of the pack.
"We'll be leaving in two days. Until then, we might as well settle in."

He grinned softly at his sleeping mate and turned back to the pack. The breeze carried down a scent of a squirrel and a couple birds.
"I'll help set up, anyone going to hunt?"

MoonKind was sleeping and had a terrible dream. It was her the pups. Her pack had vanished and her mate was no where to be found. She was lost, alone, cold, hungry, and facing a bear. Her pups transformed to be adults the bear turned into Rust. Bearing her teeth trying to kill MoonKind.

MoonKind jolted awake breathing heavily and loudly. "Thank goodness it was only a dream!" She said quietly to herself.

MoonKind stood up as all the pups were asleep and caught a squirrel. Just for a snack though. She went back and started to munch.
