@april__Blake shrugged at Emma, "'Kay then"He laughed suddenly as Camille asked to race him. She was fast, and moved gracefully around all of the obstacles in her path. He sprinted after her, and eventually caught up, "Gottcha," he yelled delightedly, as he tapped her on the shoulder. "This is a pretty good place to swim, so do you wanna stop here?"As they slowed to a stop, Blake found himself laughing. Camille was hard to anticipate. It seemed that some of the things she did were unexpected and spontaneous.

@duchessEmma scowled, grumbling on the comfort of her chair. Why would he go with Camille? Camille wasn't even wearing make up! Or a decent suit and her hair was in a gross pony tail. Talk about yuck.Camille stopped once she made it in the water up to her knees. "I wasn't expecting it to feel that cold all at once," she said with a laugh as she adjusted before walking out a couple more feet. It took all her courage, but she did it. In one swift motion, she dived into the ocean, spraying specks of water onto Blake, she came up, a small scream almost escaping her throat. It was COLD. But that only lasted a few seconds. She was completely drenched and it felt great to be out of the heat. "So, what do you like to do?" Camille asked, in an effort to spark some conversation.

Amber stood up holding her head with her hand. "Oh I am so sorry. Are you alright?" she said to Camille helping herself up."Sorry about what had happened. I didn't mean to..." Amber paused while shaking her head off.Oh gosh. Just what had happened. I never thought that I'd bump someone. She said to herself.~~@april_@duchess

@snowrosehellEmma watched the girl carefully. "So, are you going to go swimming or stay here?" she asked, curious. Though, the less girls around Blake the better. She could easily manipulate her own sister to stay away from him. But other girls would be a challenge. But if she could somehow befriend this girl, she could keep her away..."Sorry for being so rude before," Emma said to the girl, standing up from her chair to offer her her hand. "I'm just having a bad day. No harm done. Are you okay?" It surprised her how naturally the kind words came out. She pulled her sunglasses out of her hair to put them back on. The sun was blinding her. It seemed the world was out to get her today.Her sister, this girl's clumsiness, and now the sun. Boy, was she not very happy.

@april__ Blake shrugged of his shirt as he waded into the ocean. It was pretty cold. He glanced over at Camille, "It's cold now, but it will warm up later in the summer."The water was reaching mid-thigh now. Blake took a deep breath, and sat down into the water suddenly. It was a bit of a weird habit, but he had kept it up since he moved to Miami. After a moment or two of being pushed by the underwater currents, he stood up again. Camille was a little bit further out from him, so he paddled out to her."Hmm?" he queried when she asked her question, "I don't really do much, especially now that it's the summer holidays. Mostly I just wander the beach, go swimming and work. You?"

@duchessCamille watched carefully, wondering just what Blake was doing. "I'm here with my sister, whom you met, and my brother. No idea where he is... Probably on girl patrol," Camille said with a small laugh. "I'm mostly content to just write and read all day. My sister doesn't approve. But as I'm sure you noticed, her and I are completely different people." She leaned back to do some swimming. It was comfortable. "Um, just a thought. There's no sharks out here, right?" she asked, having heard stories of sharks in Miami. Back home where she lived, she didn't have to worry about such things.Quickly, her eyes scanned the beach for those shark watching towers. She had no idea where the sudden fear came from, but she assumed it was now that they were out a bit deeper, and the water suddenly looked a lot darker. It wasn't the clear water, that you could see your feet and the sand in.But the dark blue water that hid the many mysteries of the ocean.

Amber honestly said as she took Emma's hand to stood up and dusted the sand off her and put the shades up on her head."Uhhh, I don't know. I had nothing any particular on my mind yet. @snowrosehell"In all honestly," Emma said, "I'm kind of bored of sitting around and waiting for adventure and fun to find me. What do you say we wander?" It wasn't hard. Extending a hand of friendship that was. Emma tilted her head to the side. Maybe, if this girl proved herself, maybe they could be friends for real. It was a longshot. But weirder things had happened. Emma adjusted her shades to make herself look her best, and with a quick pat of her hair reached for her bag on the sand.

Blake asked, hoping she didn't have some sort of tragic story relating to them.He laughed, "Good luck to your brother, Miami girls can be hard to impress" Still laughing he moved so that he was floating on his back, gazing up at the gorgeous, cloudless, blue sky.He turned to look at Camille, "Hmm, I don't think there are any sharks around here, I think they're mostly further out." he shot her a smile, "Don't worry, if you're not bleeding or anything, you won't be at all interesting to them" ((I have no idea if that's true or not xP)) "Plus there are life-guards and stuff" he gestured vaguely at the towers on the beach.He smiled lazily. "Want to race back to shore?" he asked, "We can keep swimming, but it's more fun to race in than out."

@duchess"My mum and dad went to Europe. It took a lot of convincing. And by that, I mean a lot of convincing. But they decided, since my brother Noah is apparently mature, little do they know, that we could come. He's supposed to be baby-sitting us. But we have kind of a silent agreement that we all do our own thing, within reason," Camille told him feeling very lucky to be trusted so much by her parents. She decided to tread water for a bit, still feeling very relaxed. She listened to him talk about sharks and she smiled sheepishly, feeling very foolish for voicing her concern. "A race?" she said coyly, not bothering to warn him that she was on the swim team at home, "you're on."Without much warning, she began swimming towards the shore, feeling the coolness of the water and breeze. This was enjoyable. It was paradise. And she was so happy to be here. ((It's fun having two completely opposite characters! Camille is the sweet/innocent one. While Emma is the trouble maker, stuck up, girly girl. It's fun!))

While she was getting her stuff which were on the sand, Amber thought, she was mean at first but, I guess I'll be able to befriend with her or get along maybe or at least.

@snowrosehellEmma wrinkled her nose in disgust as she picked a little crab off her expensive purse and threw it to the ground. It was a good thing she was wearing sunglasses, as the girl couldn't see Emma's expression to her comment and her dusting off her clothes. Hanging out with her was better than no one. Emma just prayed she showed her some sort of personality that blew her away. "Shall we?" Emma asked, not waiting for an answer as she walked down the beach in her flip flops and black bikini. It felt great to see the many stares she got. She knew she looked good. "Do you fancy some lemonade or soda?" Emma said to the girl, turning to face her. The heat was getting to her and the idea of a nice iced drink made her mouth water. @duchess((Bye! It was nice roleplaying with you! And yay for our characters not having those 'tragic pasts' where our parents die or something. XD They're so cliche.))

Amber got her shades on which were expensive and took her purse where her credit card, cash and phone were in/ "Sure," she said and followed Emma.She noticed a Emma's behavior but just shrugged it off for her to be oblivious."I think I'll go for lemonade." @snowrosehell ((Just a note, there's two underscores in my name) "Lemonade sounds fine," Emma mumbled, distracted as she scanned the beach for other cute guys. "HEY!" a male voice shouted.Emma nearly jumped, but she somehow managed to regain her composure quickly enough. She turned around quickly just to see who it was, though she already knew. Rolling her eyes, she turned away from her brother. "Hey, you can't ignore your older brother," he whined. "I'm hungry, feed me." "Where's your money?" Emma asked, turning around to face him. "In the hotel, I'm too lazy to go get it," Noah broke off having seen the other girl. "And who are you?" he asked, in a less whiny tone. In fact, the tone he used was actually kind. "We're going to get a drink, bye loser," Emma said, grabbing Amber's hand lightly to pull her along. "Oh great, I'll come with!" Noah said excitedly, enjoying any chance to drive Emma up the wall. Sighing, Emma tried to block him out as she walked through the sand towards the drink stand.

"Why would I go away when there's a pretty girl here?" he demanded, following closely behind the two. Emma rolled her eyes, and was relieved to get to the drink stand. "I'll pay," Emma said, glaring at her brother ."Three lemonades, please," she said to the man working behind the stand. She batted her eyes at him. He was gorgeous, and he smiled right back. It didn't take long before their three glasses were set up. Freshly squeezed lemons. What was better?"Oh gee, thanks sis, how kind," Noah said a bit sarcastically as he shot her a playful smile. ((Ooh, cool! -goes to see))

The guy served their glass and turns back to get the freshly squeezed lemons. He looks familiar in his figure. She thought. Too bad I can't see his face with him having his back in front of me.Amber was playing her hand on the glass in front of her. The guy turned and walked around them to filled their glasses in with lemonade. She looked up to see the glass and noticed his face. "Phil?!" Amber exclaimed in surprise."Ambs?" Phil was also surprised to see her.

She felt her heart thump in her chest. This may make up for earlier... As he was a lot more attractive than the guy Camille had gone off with.

Anyways, it's normal to see girls like that and it doesn't seem like it's the first to see someone like that in my whole life.

Noah rolled his eyes at his sister's reaction, though he couldn't deny he got excited over the sight of pretty girls, but he was also hard working and serious. All Emma ever wanted to do was have fun.He took a sip of his lemonade and turned to Amber. "So are you on vacation or do you live here?"

He luckily managed to catch his balance in time and smiled sheepishly, his face going a bet red. Emma watched the scene unfold, and stirred her lemonade with her straw a bit. That's when she heard him speak, her heart fluttered again. And he WINKED at her. She winked back. He was interested. That was good. But who wouldn't be interested in her? She tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder and sipped her lemonade with a big smile on her face.

"Well, the fun is where I am," Emma said with a small laugh, pushing her sunglasses up onto her head. "I wonder where Camille is." Emma's eyes scanned the beach, looking for any sign of her twin, but had no luck. She sulked. Despite their differences, she wanted to tell her sister all about the cute guy in the stand. "Where did you last see her?" Noah said, concern creeping into his tone. Camille was the responsible one, but he couldn't help but worry."She went for a swim with some guy," Emma said, shrugging. "Just with some random guy?" Noah seethed. That didn't sound like the responsible Camille. "That kind of reminds me. Maybe I shouldn't have left her, she might wonder where I am..." Emma said sheepishly, cringing slightly under her brother's glare. "Do you mind heading back to the beach?" Noah asked Amber a bit anxiously. He didn't want Camille going back and not seeing them.

It didn't take Emma long to notice that her gold watch was missing, and the panic set in on her face. "WHERE IS IT!?" she screeched, falling to the ground, digging through the sand. She didn't care now that she was getting it all over herself. She didn't even care it was going under her previously manicured nails. "Emma. We're in Miami now! You can't just leave stuff lying around," Noah lectured, getting down on all fours to help her. "It was probably stolen." Turning to Amber, he said "we live in a small town at home, and it's trustworthy enough there to leave your cars unlocked even."Emma, on the verge of tears didn't respond to her brother but kept looking through the sand. Her father had given her that watch and would be furious if she lost it. It was quite expensive and held a lot of sentimental value. -cont-

"This is Miami, Em, there's thousands of new tourists daily. You shouldn't have been so foolish. Camille certainly wouldn't have done this. In fact, I bet her watch is safe in her room. And not being shown off," Noah informed her, shooting Amber an apologetic glance. "Sorry about this, she doesn't think too much." Noah would have stopped what he was saying sooner, had he seen the expression on his sister's face. Rarely did Emma cry, a tear slithered down her cheek now. "Right, because Camille's Ms. Perfect. Ms. Responsible. I should take a leaf out of her book, because she's so much better than me." On the surface, Emma's tone sounded angry, bitter and full of venom. But if one listened closely enough they'd hear the genuine hurt, fear and sadness in her tone. She was sick of being compared to her sister, sick of feeling second best, and sick of not being good enough. -Finished-
