Clicks... those WRETCED clicks!!!

Ok, I thought I had all this down, but apparently I've confused myself along the way lol.

I thought that everytime someone 'clicks' on your creature to 'feed' it, it got a 'click'. However, I've seen creatures with more 'feeds' than 'clicks' and vice versa....

I'm so confused!!! Soooo, how does one get 'clicks' ^.^

I'm such a n00b XD

@lightnigember I think if people post their creatures on a click exchange like yarlods, it takes you directly to the creature/egg instead of clicking on it. So that's why you can have more feeds than clicks.

Views update at 3am. Clicks update every time someone clicks on your creatures and looks at your profile. Feeds update every time someone feeds your creature.

Yeah, I find that confusing too. Why do some people just click creatures when they could be earning EC and feeding them too? Yarolds is not an option for me because I don't use it. It's so weird... and it's not just a few clicks that clicks are ahead by, it's tens of times more!

@lightnigember Clicks occur whenever someone clicks on your creature (pretty self-explanatory ^^) Feed happen whenever someone pressed the 'Feed Creature' button. Both are updated instantly.

Now, to get more clicks than feeds, people click on your creature, but choose not to feed.

To get more feeds than clicks, you have to give a link to the creature. There are two types of links, once that doesn't give clicks and one that does, eg.

http://eggcave.com/egg/717074 (no click)

http://eggcave.com/click/717074 (click)

@Lightnigember I think Duchess has the answer, it depends on the URL.
@Duchess Ohh, I was confused too, but I understand now, thanks! 😃

@liliana Clicks and feeds update straight away.

@lightnigember It depends on the URL, but if you literally CLICK the creature (not paste the URL) and it takes you to its profile page, a click is added.
