Charlie smiled as the elderly man handed him the key in exchange for a flask and a few crumpled bills. 'Well, enjoys yous self boy' he laughed, walking away. The thick foerign accent made chatting difficult for Charlie to understand. The gleaming copper key was labled 432, 'Must be my room,' he though. Each galley and deck of the ship was highly decorated and adroned with gold. The guileded age at its finest! Breifly, his mind flashed back to the girl he set eyes on moments ago.

Aizel smirked.
"We'll have to sneak past the guards first and we need the keys from them if we want to unlock any of the cages" she stated and pulled him towards the halls where the guards were.
"What do ya say, you distract him while I snatch the keys?" she asked him, smiling playfully.

Brendon looked at the guard and nodded "I know how.." he said smiling and running up.He purposely walked into first class deck making sure the guard saw."Hey kid you can't go in there!" the guard protested putting the keys down and following Brendon.

Luggage put away, and room safely locked, Cassandra decided to explore the rest of the ship. The halls for the Third Class quarters were far less crowded now, and only a few people remained. She slowly walked up the hall, now in the 430's. She had a book tucked beneath one arm..."The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" was emblazoned across it. Suddenly a group of children went zipping past, all pushing past her in different directions. She stumbled trying not to fall, but it was no use. Her beloved book flew from her hands down the hallway as she fell forward onto the floor.
"Sorry!" One of the young boys called as he continued to run.

Snickering lightly, Aizel grabbed the keys and hid them in her pocket, running after Brendon and catching up with him.
"Stop it you!" she pretended to scold him in fron of the guard. She turned to the amn, smiling sheepishly "I'm so sorry for my.. um... fiance's behaviour, he's just excited to be on such a wonderful ship. That's all" she said quickly, pulling rendon away.
"Alright but if I catch him here again there's going to be punshment." threatened the guard.

Brendon pretended to act all embarrassed in front of the guard but when he left Brendon burst into laugher.He was smiling alot and then he coughed and stopped."Hehe" he smiled at her.

Continuing down the hallway towards the animal room, Aizel tugged Brendon with her. She was still chuckling as she stopped infront of a door.
"I think this is it" sh said, unlocking the door and stepping in.
".....................wow............" she breathed, looking at the countless numbers of animals inside.

A young woman stumbled, her book clatterd to the ground. Bending down, Charlie picked it up and examined the cover. 'Sir Arthur Conan Doyle! I don't read much, but when I do its him! What wonderful tales he can weave.' Quickly, he handed her the book and flashed a smile.

Cassandra looked up and was met with a pair of beautiful blue eyes. Blushing, she got to her feet, and brushed off her dress.
"Thank you." She said with a warm smile. "It's nice to meet someone who enjoys his work as much as I do!" She held her hand out welcomingly. "I'm Cassandra." She smiled.

Brendon started petting a young husky through the cage.It licked his fingers causing him to laugh. The dogs eyes were lovely and blue.

Charlie looked at the young woman, he guessed she was about 22. Her long arburn hair and freckles reminded him of spring. He reminisced the warm, wet days, where the shaking bud were coaxed out of hiding.
He extended a worn hand, 'The pleasure is mine, Cassandra. The name's Charlie. You been on the ship long? I'm looking for my rom- 423.'

Cassandra grasped his hand, feeling the various calluses that were there. She knew he must work with his hands, and with how tanned he was there was no doubt that he spent a lot of time outside. She was amazed at his eyes... So blue and almost sparkling.

"I've only been on long enough to upack, but your room is close to mine. I can show you the way if you like?"

'That would be splendid!' Charlie exclaimed, walking in step with her. There was something about the girl that made him feel realxed and at bay. 'So, where to you hail from, Cassandra? Are you looking for adventure on this ship?' Cabin doors appeared along the freshly painted walls.

She smiled at Charlie as they walked down te hall, stepping in unison.
"I was born in Ireland. My family and I came here about 5 years ago. Once they died there was nothing to keep me jere. So I here I am." she explained, letting out a small laugh. "What about you? Where do you call home?" she asked. His prescence was calming, almost comforting. Cassandra couldn't quite place why, and she didn't mind it either.

In the mean time Aizel had gone at the furthest part of the room, not noticing Katia. She had found a cage with a alarge black jaguar and was now petting it gently. It's soft silky fir felt good against her fingers and she smiled as the cat purred quietly.

As she was smiling, a soft ring of a bell reached Aizel's ears. She stood up promptly and headed to the exit.
"Hey, Bren, time for our dinner." she stated and motioned him to come.
Usually the rich folks would be served first, eating delish meals and expensive wine. Then the second class's dinner would be set and finally, on the last floor of the ship, where the mice usually hid, the third class's dinner was served. The ring of the rusty bell was a call to all the poor passenger to go there and gather all the leftovers from the chef's kitchen. Aizel knew that the food would be taken by the first that get there so she wanted to hurry up.
"Come on." she urged Brendon. "They'll eat all the food.

Brendon laughed ''See you Katia guess you'll get the good food!'' he smiled running with Aizel to get at least some food. It had started to rain again as Brendon heard a couple of Second class people who were soaked and complaining.

Aizel's eyes widened at the sight. It wwas just poring rain! And on top of that they had to run to the other side of the ship to get to the rooms and their dinner.
"Oh man." she moaned in complaint and ran out into the rin, squeaking loudly as the col water ran down her clothes and wet her hair.

Brendon laughed and ran up the soaked deck and skidded across the wooden floor. He pretended he was ice skating which was quite expensive around 10 pounds! So he decided to imagine he was.

Laughting loudly over the sound of the rain, Aizel grinned widely at Brendon. She squeaked again.
"How can you do that when we're getting soaked!" she shouted and laughed, pulling him to the other hall. "Our food will get eaten." she she said.
